It is safe now to believe that the FG has been on the hot-seat since looking for what to nail this man with. Dasukigate didn't rope him in! they tried Dezianigate and that one flopped! they must have searched for issues with TAN's involvement in the last election and still found nothing! this case-less case is what they are riding on its back to tarnish this man's image! they now want to criminalise a commercial dispute just to get at him. if truly this offense is punishable by death then all those involved in crude oil swap should have been dead by now. 3 Likes |

DSS is making a grave mistake for issuing such statement, this is becoming a mockery on the so called DSS because if they are sure he's guilty as alleged they should charge him to the court . Detaining him for so long is likened to violation of his fundamental human right 3 Likes |

DSS are a bunch of jokers. Ifeanyi Ubah wanted to create Artificial scarcity? Lmaooooo. Where was the DSS when Ifeanyi Ubah broke protocols and opened his tank farm for lifting of petroleum products when the entire country was crippled by fuel scarcity? Secondly, the DSS are clueless. Ifeanyi Ubah sold the products to Nigerians in Nigeria not in cotonou or Sierra Leone. So how can he be attempting to create scarcity in Nigeria when the products have already been sold to Nigerians? DSS is not telling us the truth. Twice they have failed to produce Ifeanyi Ubah in court and this is the erratic bullshit they went to release as a statement. Nonsense 6 Likes |

Anybody who tags Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah an Economic sabotage is a saboteur himself, DSS should step aside and allow NNPC/Capital Oil reconcile, all this while NNPC owed Capital Oil and Gas nobody saw any Media trial, stop defaming an innocent man who means well for his country, and stop making life hard for over 2000 families.... 3 Likes |

Ubah should return the money to NNPC so as not to give his detractors the opportunity to rubbish his name.In as much as I dont support what DSS is doing,Ubah shouldn't have sold the PMS without NNPCs permission. That's stealing. He should be wise and try to settle out of court. He will always loose the case in court. 2 Likes |

... and this is how you know that there's definitely a 'hand' sponsoring all these. This is simply a contractual issue and DSS is saying what So who's going to face d death penalty 4d 16 billion NNPC is owing Capital Oil and Gas? NNPC's MD I think. DSS shud know that Nigerians are wiser than they give them credit, and we are already seeing through the charade. DSS shud release Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, and If they av ANY case against him, they shud meet him in court. 2 Likes |

An entirely laughable stance from the DSS. How a supposedly reasonable official would open his mouth to utter such nonsense is astonishing. If Uba's alleged economic crime is punishable by death, so also are those who have been convicted of other economic crimes. Nonsense 3 Likes |

They tried to rope Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah into Dasukigate, they found nothing. They searched for TAN's involvement, they found nothing. They now want to give his transaction a bad, a sort of payback for the waves TAN made. If this commercial dispute is punishable by death, what becomes of those that were involved in crude swap without delivering petroleum product or remitting the money for over 3 years of loading Capital Oil's crude oil. What of those that stole crude? In their first press release and in the lagos court, they said Dr. Ubah was inciting tanker drivers which translates to economic sabotage in their thinking. When they could not substantiate their claim with any proof, they subsequently changed gear to allege that Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah was trying to cause scarcity by distributing petroleum products and hence, a capital crime punishable by death. How senseless. The question is did Capital sell the peoduct in Cotonou or Mali? Was it sold to animals or Nigerians? Who is by this act insigating scarcity? Dr. Ubah or NNPC ?. This same Capital Oil that has been rescuing NNPC when they lacked product. This same company has frequently rescued the country in petroleum crises and during strike actions. Did NNPC inform DSS that they have been borrowing product also from Capital Oil on more than 3 ocassions this year. Will they also be condemned to death for borrowing product from a private citizen to support thier inefficiency or incompetence. Nigerians should expect more expose as there is ample evidence to show that Capital Oil borrowed NNPC petroleum products to cover their inefficiencies 3 Likes |

Imagine an utterance from the state agent. DSS has no such right to pronounce anyone guilty or innocent, why the Media trial, why doing all they could to bring down the brand Ifeanyi Ubah, a man who has stood for this Nation in so many times of desperate needs. Should the DSS not have held to court since they felt Dr Ubah is guilty. It’s obvious someone somewhere wants Capital Oil and Gas Boss down by all means. DSS has been subjected to agent of intimidation and harassment against the Nigerian Citizens. Those who seek for the Down fall of this Patriotic statesman will fail woefully. Nigerians must stand up to resists this evil from a state apparatus. 1 Like |

The court asked you to produce Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, DSS failed to do so without any reason what-so-ever. The DSS accusation that Mr Ubah committed an economic sabotage is punishable by death is very baseless and senseless. These pms, was it exported out of Nigeria to neighboring West African Countries or was it sold to Nigerians? These pms was sold in Nigeria to Nigerians. Mr Ubah did not drink the N11bn pms.Nigerians should also be made to know the truth that NNPC owes Dr ubah N16b too and it is because NNPC is owned by the FG so they have decided not to pay their own dept but to intimidate Dr Ubah. Several times NNPC forgot heeding the call for a round table discussion so business dispute should be discussed and solved. Suddenly, NNPC employed DSS to come and collect debt. Has DSS been suddenly converted to a debt collector? Did NNPC inform DSS that they have been borrowing product also from Capital Oil on more than 3 ocassions this year? Will they also be condemned to death for borrowing product from a private citizen to support their inefficiency or incompetence? Nigerians should expect more expose as there is ample evidence to show that Capital Oil borrowed NNPC petroleum products to cover their inefficiencies. DSS/NNPC are only trying to use their FEDERAL MIGHT to bully Dr Ubah maybe because of his involvement in TAN and they found nothing to rope him into Dasukigate. They now want to use this transaction/impasse between Capital Oil and Gas and NNPC as sort of a payback for the waves TAN made. If this commercial dispute is punishable by death, what becomes of those that were involved in crude swap without delivering petroleum product or remitting the money for over 3 years of loading Capital Oil's crude oil. The injustice and inequality in this country is dam too much! Where are the likes of lawal that was caught in the scandal of fuel subsidy? Where is otedola who was also caught giving bribe? Where are the northern marketers that swindled the Nigerian state of petroleum products worth billions of dollars? Because uba is of Igbo ethnicity, the northern cabal wants to rubbish and soil the name of this man. Where is the like of bachal lawal that receives bribe from mtn? What's going on in this country for crying out loud? I don't blame those that refer to this country as a zoo because clearly some animals are higher than other animals as clearly illustrated in the animal farm by George Orwell. This country is a failed entity and no country grows or progress without equal rights and justice. Its a shame the DSS is being used to play bitter, unprofessional and vengeful politics as such acts only brings the end of the contraception closer. 1 Like |
