Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo might be the favourite for the 2017 Ballon d'Or but Barcelona defender Gerard Pique believes the gong should go to Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.


Buffon, 39, will skipper the Scudetto winners against Champions League titleholders Real Madrid in this season's final in Cardiff on June 3, having never claimed the prestigious club competition.
