Igbo, first settlers in Ile-Ife—Igwe Achebe

Achebe said the Igbo society existed beyond what Achebe recorded in his books, disclosing that a recent history book has ascribed to the Igbo as

the original settlers in Ile-Ife and whom Oduduwa met, other than the present contest between the Ife and the Ugbo sections in Yoruba land.

Igwe Achebe, therefore, tasked the academia in the University of Nigeria to conduct further research that would either authenticate the new

study on Igbo settlement.

That is what we have been saying. In fact, Achebe is a cousin of Ooni, Olowu and Olugbo being that they are descendants of the Obatalas. Get the book that Obi of Onitsha read to know why he was so bold in making his statement. https://www.amazon.com/History-Igbo-World-Ancient-Civilization-ebook/dp/B01K4AIUO8

But, by reason that Ooni is in Ile Ife, he is the Chief Obatala. Olugbo is an Obatala. Olowu (product of the Obatala's marriage to Odudwa's first daughter, Princesss OKANBI Iyunade) is an Obatala. Eze-Igwe (Sky King) of Ogwuta is an Obatala. Obi of Iselle Ukwu (Eze Chima's first son) is an Obatala. To know more of this get this kindle eBook https://www.amazon.com/History-Igbo-World-Ancient-Civilization-ebook/dp/B01K4AIUO8

What Obi of Onitsha and Olugbo said are the truth. However, the Ooni is the guardian of that truth. He is of the order of Oduduwa, but history is history.

On the contrary, Igbos have a rich history. It is a great thing that more scholars are beginning to look into different aspects of Igbo history long ignored. That Obatala, the Osere Igbo, the Oba Igbo, the aboriginal King of Ile Ife was Igbo,  is indeed something to be proud of.

Obatala (read all the Obatala rulers) was indeed a very organized man. That is why his descendants are today very organized. And he forgave his enemies. That is why he reconciled with Oduduwa The Great, and even helped him to rule Ile Ife in later years.

Obatala joins great people like his ancestor Eri Ben Gad as one of the greatest products of Igbo history. Obi of Onitsha has said it. Many more, maybe including you will soon say it.

By the way, both Igbo and Yoruba should follow Obatala's example and reconcile from every silly quarrel they have.</strong>

Aregbesola (Osun state governor) was even telling me recently that he and a professor have discovered some Owus in the East (Igbo Land). We are making efforts to meet these people. -Olowu of Owu

Yoruba are mighty people real children of Olodumare that gave birth to others... Yoruba itself it Unic peaceful people who develop mathematics and alphabet...all languages used worldwide today originated from a single Yoruba language alphabet. For example if you want to say America....A in Yoruba mean We, Us,Everybody,A is include everybody.....which ancient black Greek that gave birth to English, Portuguese, spanish, dutch, german, english all borrow to have proper pronouncation of AMERICA English A is useless. Another sample is EDUCATION you have correct pronunciation they must borrow Ẹ from yoruba for proper pronouncation of ẸDUCATION not EDUCATION ...Yoruba are people of heaven decend to earth to civilized mankind or any kind of man kind.. Yoruba language is cosmos language of heaven which others originated from as pigin. Igbo, ugbo, and others are baby children of alborignal indigenous Yoruba of ife spiritual home of Yoruba...history of Yoruba is deep NDIGBO NRI IS YORUBA OYO/IFE CIVILIZATION and Obatala is Yoruba not igbo, igbo, ancient black Egyptian, ethiopian, original ancient black Arab/greek/Assyrian, others are just children of Anu of ancient aboriginals Yoruba. The real first old people on earth first creation were the Yoruba.... Deep meaning of Yoruba means Sky, land, ocean, mountain, spirits, palm trees, sugar cane, air, fog.yoruba have no end and it difficult for later commer people to have deep knowledge of their ancestors end. Olodumare made it that way... You can never hear Yoruba claiming any land they are quiet and well civilized coz they have secret of their earth and spirits world creation.
