jazzyjazz: Sorry for the late response, i am sure other mamas have chipped in. The questions i have are more for you than for the nanny. I would only add that you have a clear idea what her role is to be. So that when you have the interview it is clear to her what the expectations are. Is she to help primarily with the baby, is she for housework and other chores or is she general purpose nanny/maid? It will help if you can identify what is stressing you the most and delegate . If it is cooking..... you can contract that out. So that things like stew, soups and smoke party jollof can be a staple. You will only need to make yam, rice, etc on the day to eat. And cook every once in a while. ( yes, you can tell i like party jollof ) I know someone who resorted to using disposables plates and cutlery at home so as to reduce the plate washing. Whatever makes your life easier. If it is cleaning and household chores - then you can get the maid to do that. She doesnt have to be live-in for that. If you can get someone realiable that will come in the morning and leave in the evening , or even come 3 times a week. To help clean, tidy up, do the laundry, ( iron) Etc. The main thing is to get someone reliable. As if not, they will just stress you out the more. Hope it works out. It is not easy this motherhood 2 Likes |

Ohh!!! So I missed plenty gist because my login credentials refused to sign in: For bread matter, it's like I just discover bread oo!!! I am really trying hard to reduce it. @enque, jazzjazz,brownsugars... you guys made me laugh so hard. For keto wahala, I will pass Biko!!! Pre-pregnancy weigh was between 59&60kg now am btw 62&64 so not that bad. I am just doing Tommy trimming that's all and I have a good app from App Store call fitness that am using to do that. Come to think of it, it's like too much exercise reduce breast produce? Right or wrong? @feddy27,sugah,zaynie. @enque, I think you should be happy that your DD is now sleeping fully in the night. Mine still use my breast as pacifier though not yet 6month sha. For the mama that mentioned about her baby stool hard, please give her water as advised by experienced mom in the house. 1 Like |

Good pm mums in the house. Well I last visited dis forum in 2012 when I had my first child. Now I am a new mum of a cute little dude. Pls I need your opinion of my hubby wanting my 5wks old baby to sleep under fan. Yours truely the baby sleeps like the baby that he is when the fan is at The highest and wakes up as soon as u reduce or turn the fan off. And while he is sleeping my hubby keeps telling me that I am the one punishing the boy by lowering the Fan. He keeps Making sound while he breaths like someone who has caterrh but there is no mucous in his nose I am so scared. |

The head too must be covered. Let him enjoy the cooling well covered. They never had cold until now sha. |
