beeyodun88: Dont lie oooo.... just go with what you have. Sell yourself, be upbeat and confident and state the reasons why you picked the school. I have seen the VO give visa to some schools like this . All.the best tomorrow |

dephilosopher: Not this school oooo...Virginia International University U.S. Department of Education said it no longer recognizes its accreditation (ACICS) and i dont think the school has a good reputation with VO . Best to gain admission in other better schools Maybe you use the search button ontop and search for some historical comments about this school or check google . Article like this can provide you more insight http://www.happyschools.com/options-acics-accreditation-loss/ |

dephilosopher: Summer around here starts in two weeks, so if you haven't paid the fee, or your school is yet to admit you, you should focus on Fall, 2017 which starts in August. This is based on visa and other logistics. |

Mac2016: This is not a nice criteria to choose schools. Esp if you'll be spending the next 5 +x years there. Most schools would let you submit your unofficial transcripts for admission, and you only send the official copy upon admission. |

TheGreat342:I saw your question and I thought someone has helped you , anyway..after getting your i20 you need to pay sevis fee https://www.fmjfee.com/ You cant pay in Nigeria. You need to fill out the coupon on that website yourself then send the printout to someone Abroad preferably USA to make payment for you, Its about $210. After making payment then you fill out the DS-160 form http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/ng-niv-ds160complete.asp . After filling the DS 160 form, pay visa fee at any gtb bank and schedule for visa interview at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Nigeria. P.S A quick google search would have given you guidelines on how to do this, not every time questions, sometimes be proactive 5 Likes 1 Share |

TheGreat342: Go up and put the word sevis . It will bring up old post about the top and can guide you... also this the website https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/paying-your-i-901-sevis-fee For Nigerians it has to be western union or certified cheque. Before it had to be Western union outside nigeria but someone stated here she was able to do it at a 1st bank western union in lekki. ... find a western union that has "quick pay" service Next steps are for you to pay your sevis, visa payment of 64k in gtb , complete the ds160 and book an appointment 1 Like 1 Share |

If you have been following the thread for 6years, then VIU should scarcely have been considered as a school. Please dig deeper and consider a better school. Best of luck. BTW, I greet everyone in the house and wish you all the best especially those coming to the US in Fall 2017. dephilosopher: |
