Omo, they are many in PH. Just that most of them are not on Nairaland. I have directed many people to mechanics in PH. My mechanic has travelled to Enugu, Uyo, and Abakiliki to solve issues for customers.

My friend in Eket calls him whenever his car have issues. The problem with so many good mechanics I know is time to leave their workshop. No time at their hands.
The man here on Nairaland that called me from USA appreciated both my electrician and mechanic for a wonderful job they did n a car shipped in.
my point exactly, some of them had to travel, and as for me wey no dey ph now nko, and d distance from ai to pH is like 4hrs what do I do? use Honda? people that have been running fingers (not mouth naw) where dem dey?
I'll have to either wait for wen the guy is chanced or travel in order to install parts shey? not like it'll be free wen I get there oh, I'll still pay for probably booked space before diagnosis and fixing. not just that, I'll also pay to FasTrack my service if the tech isn't reasonable.

where dem dey, come and shut me up now oh,. come come come now.

Engine build quality is superb, Fail safe modes created to Limp mode /Safe modes Built into Engine electronics to prevent Excessive engine or transmission wear in case of failure, Good 2nd hand value, Excellent fuel economy on Engines with smaller sizes, Cheap and affordable Used and New parts, Interesting dashboard with a lot of buttons and gadgets.

Hondas are Durable vehicles If managed properly.

It's gradually infiltrating. They love speed and balance @ high speeds, plus fuel economy. Newer mercedes easily meet that criteria.

u r blessed and not cursedy brother, lala
... we need this on fp urgently with people coming in with their unique experiences and other with solutions.
my suggestion is to get someone competent in all parts of Naija or organize e- lectures on the dominant brands in Naija, from electrical to mechanical to even logical. some tech savvy guys amongst us will pick up a lot of things

who told you? Honda don't care of condition the road it can disappoint you at any time! Moreover Most northern state roads it's just the state capital that are Ok, local government roads are zero
Re: Hausas And The Honda Brand by Nyceguy92: 12:01am On May 23, 2017
The North has good roads that are friendly to the low ground clearance of Honda cars.

One of the factors a typical Southerner/Easterner considers before buying a car is the ground clearance.
Given the awful condition of the roads, cars that lie too close to the ground are a no-no.

A friend once had a Honda Prelude and each time went out, we had to get out so he could cross a small elevation.
Otherwise, the car got suspended on its belly.
Re: Hausas And The Honda Brand by Nobody: 10:28am On May 23, 2017
Stayed in the north ,KD for five years.can tell you that we love Hondas because of the balance brought about by the low clearance and good road.you may be driving on 140k/h along kaduna zaria road or zaria Kano road and you just notice a Hoda car pass you as if you are stationary.Good balance,Good and straight road,Good Fuel Economy all play a part.Ball joint pulling is not common in the North because of Good Road.I am now in the South but have used three diff.brands of Honda in the North.2003,2005 and 2010.Honda Accord.

Pls, When you say "Rotate" what do you actually mean?

In addition to what Adanny01 has said, how you rotate your tires depends on whether the tires are directional or not. For directional tires, tires for a particular side stay on the same side, you just move front to back and back to front on the right side and do same for the left. For non directional I've forgotten the movement since I haven't used these kind of tires. Just google tire rotation, you will find all the info you need.
Also when to rotate depends on manufacturer recommendation. My accord recommends every 10k miles, Toyota corolla's recommend every 5k.

Great

Because honda recommends 10k and my service is 75k, i feel its workable.

For non directional tires, the front tires are crossed while the back tires are moved without crossing.

Thats why i make sure i dont buy directional tires. Directional tires never change from left to right or right to left.
