You might have PhD or master degree, but it is in your best interest to apply with your bachelor degree as you will still be accepted as level 8 officer and your promotion will not be faster than those your colleagues with bachelor degrees and your additional qualifications doesn't give you extra cutting edge during the application process.
In fact it can hurt because your boss that will recruit you might not have master or PhD degree and human feelings might just take over and place your application into the loop hole.

If your qualifications is higher than your recruiting manager, then you better take some off because your prospective bosses will not offer you job and you become a threat to them[/quote]

Bro in as much as I will agree certain things with you, I don't think you should say with certainty that those using M.Sc instead of their B.Sc are wrong. This is a complete fallacy.

I personally think the NIS is very unfair to applicant's here.

Having gone through the referees form a friend downloaded, I saw it would be very hard for most potential referees to co-operate.

The form is written (Referee Form) but the contents is that of Guarantors.

Where has it been heard that a referee is saddled with the responsibility of producing an individual if he or she aired or is wanted.

It's like a death sentence, the content is harsh...however someone that doesnt know you keenly can't sign it for u.

Wrong. Please if you have a master's degree, choose that option. It's even a smooth ride with your connection (note I mentioned connection) because among thousands of applicants with first degree, masters will also be minimal (to a level) compared to Bachelors.
Forget all those talk, Nigeria rules via certificate. The higher, the safer but PhD option is not even available because they expect such to be in a university or research stuff.
Happy application NLanders!

My prudent advice for you is to reapply for Bachelor degree and shun the threat of multiple registration.

Ask yourself when you are fortunate and called on physical screening for inspectorate Cadre and you went with Bachelor degree certificate and not with HND. Disqualification right?

Reapply and await what happens next
please on checking my print out i saw post applied for as superintendent cadre
please those that applied for b.sc what is the post applied written on confirmation slip and those that apply for hnd was written on confirmation slip

I wasn't surprised about that, but what surprised me was that some people who don't know still refused to learn.

Mediocrity is as a result of laziness. Laziness to develop themselves through seeking for knowledge and experience.

I just keep wondering that what kind of employability skills and knowledge will they possess.

I was like I have never seen where a guarantor is required in the case of employment and education. What are they going to guarantee? My life or my prospective employer 's life or the entire staff''s life of the institution I want to study?
I am seeing another reason why British, Canada and US will subject some Nigerian graduates to English Language Test before furthering their education in their respective countries despite the fact that English Language is the mode of teaching and instruction in our country.
please on checking my print out i saw post applied for as superintendent cadre
please those that applied for b.sc what is the post applied written on confirmation slip and those that apply for hnd was written on confirmation slip
