When I was in educational consultancy I can't recall if in anytime, any of my students chose wrong JAMB subject combinations, base on their caurse of interest and SSCE.

Because I used to have special hours to read brochure from A to Z, find the differences in a new year brochure and previous ones.

Find out why they want to study the course, if I find out a parent was the one forcing his child to study a course, I would have to invite the parent and let them see why they should not force a course on their kids.

I would monitor, supervise, analyse, everything from o'level, jamb subjects combination, courses of choice, schools of choice...

I would then make more finding about the schools, are they on strike, are they planning to go on strike, do they run the program my student chose, what about post UTME and past questions...

After I am satisfied, then I would then fill their JAMB form, if there is anything still bordering me I would not fill their form until I am clear.

Whatever that Worths doing short doing well. Even till today information about many of these universities are in my brain...

i had 219 IN UTME SUB COMB IS econs,account,eng,maths i chose unilag studyn economics and my ssce comb is comm,accuntn,bukeepng,econs,maths,eng,biology but ve been told naw that i need one social science subject in my ssce except econs that unilag does nt accept comm,i am thnkn of changn my course 2 irpm or accountn plz advise me what to do and i chose lasu also with dxame course i dont knw about lasu combinatin yet and i wanna knw if lasu accept econs or bookkepn and dier last year cut off for economics tanks

with ur utme ur chances are high.

One thing u must need know about unilorin is their admission is nowhere near Transparnt!...For a state uni i'll advice u choose lasu!...For ur chances, 237 aint bad for economics in Unilorin, but for lasu, Ur olevel will determine it all!.....And choosing a 2nd choice uni won't affect ur admission chances in d 1st choice!....

You have a good chance to be admitted with this your jamb result but I can not say much because I don't know your o'level, your state of origin and if you have two sittings or one.

If i donk know all this I cant measure your chance.

However, 237 is a good result if other factors remain constant you have a vary high chance of being admitted.

With this your result you may not need to change institution/course.

Except if your o'level is not good and your name is like Charles, creg, Jonson...
