Hi guys, can someone pls look at this situation for me. I am about to apply for the Ontario PNP under human capital priority and all my documents are ready to be uploaded. I intend to apply tomoro. My current CRS score is 401 and my next birthday is first week in september about 3 months from now. My question is,

1. What is the current processing time for OiNP application?

2. Can I still receive PNP after OINP application when my CRS has dropped less than 400 in the pool after my Birthday?

I don't know their current processing time but my wife's colleague got nomination this month; exactly a month after applying.

IMO, apply "sharply" so that you can get your nomination asap. Remember that it gives you additional 600 points which translates to ITA at the next available draw. The 5 points wouldn't matter once you get nominated.

Hi,

Has anyone here tried applying for PR without having one year of work experience?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Beem4cupid: 2:22pm On May 27, 2017
The processing time is less than 2months but I will advise you retake your IELTS or look for any means to retain your CRS score at 400 because even with the nomination, there is a clause that your CRS score must be atleast 400 through to PPR. Kindly read up further.
My take is quickly submit, then resit ur IELTS if that is the only way you can improve your score

Atleast one year experience is one of the major prerequisites even if your score is enough to get you ITA without the job experience, that is why it is Skilled Worker Program

Guys,

For the POF, which is better, the requested financial profile or six months statement?

Bear in mind, the account balance hasn't been up to a million. It spiked up to about three million in one month. Is there a way to go about it?

Anyone please....

I think d reason for dis very draw was to give room for trade guyz to participate too as they usually have low CRS points. They also need tbis category of immigrants who will hardly score above 400 which is d threshold lately.

Also giving preference to d PNP guys to support the provinces since the provinces want them perhaps quickly.

To them, it's unnecessary to do skilled workers draw dis week cos of the number they intend to take(over 3000 I guess) merged with the corresponding scores in d pool. I think they don't wanna go below 400 for now.

Considering this trend, I believe Ontario would reduce their nomination score to 370 thereabout. Even d additional points they intend to start giving from june 6 might not sustain tbe cut off at over 400 for a long time. Possible though looking at it from d direction of more people having siblings in Canny as we all relocate.

I forsee d next cutoff going above 415 probably between 420-430 considering d fact dat boiz ain't smiling with IELTS these days.

All da best guyz!

I didn't take a look at d scores of applicants in d pool b4 d post up. Those guyz seem to have taken almost all d big boiz. They would have announced 405 as d cutoff if they had done FSW draw yesterday. Of course some big guys will be entering d pool dis week, d next cutoff doesn't appear to be high to me probably d lowest ever.

Guyz, we all will get ITA before dis year runs out In'sha Allah. Congrats in advance.

Needs minimum of 7 in reading to get 25 additional CRS points.

Please how do I apply for remark? Must I go to BC myself? BC where I stay there is no BC office

studyexec:

Had the same reading score in my exam 2months ago. I have applied for EOR for the reading, and also booked for another exam.
EOR is in the 4th week now and BC said it will take 8weeks (+/-). I know the chances of increased score is very slim for reading and listening, but hopefully there may be exceptions, as I have read.
If you are an accompanying spouse, the result should be adequate. If you are the PA, you will surely need better scores. Also consider if you can manage with your results being frozen for up to 8weeks during EOR processing; meaning you cant use it for your EE profile.

It was written on cic page that if u are pharmacist and want to practise with it then u must go through PEBC. He just has a pharmacy degree but not practising. So that's the reason we are not going through PEBC.

esosa4real:

Hi, I don't know if you have solved your husbands problem tho but be aware that as far as he is a pharmacist, his eCA must be from PEBC.

Someone on nairaland was refused for this. He tried to outsmart the system by evaluating via another body to save cost. He was refused and re-applied with PEBC ECA.

I heard it's very expenive. Even more than MCC but this cana waka sometimes it's not How fast, but how well!

There is an EOR form to be filled. You can send someone to BC office to pick it up and scan to you.
Fill the EOR form and submit with the original Test Report Form and bank draft (N15k per component being remarked) - the submission can be made on your behalf.
I would have found a way to send you the scanned copy I have, but I don't know if the form has been changed.....you never know.

it's 15k flat rate irrespective of components being reassessed. The difference is that if you reassess say two components and only one gets a higher band score the money is not returned.

Oh okay I see. Maybe the person who was refused, had work experience in pharmacy thus the need for PEBC.

In your case, your husband is working outside the pharmacy radius and from the cic snapshot, he is allowed for wes or iqas.

That's clear then, all the best.

It is highly unlikely I will get PPR by first week in September. Need to research this further before investing 1500cad. Thought as soon as I receive PNP 600 points then I am safe.

Wow. $59.95? That's a lot of money o.

My IELTS scores were: L 8.5; R 9.0; W 7.5; S 7.0

For my preparation I used www.ieltsbuddy.com which offers free access and tutorials on all aspects of the test. The site was sufficient for me although I started my test preparation quite late.

Trikings2000:

We used an online paid course tutorial directly from IELTS. The link is http://www.ieltstestonline.com

We paid a standard fee of 59.95USD for 1month access. There is also 3months access.
It contains audio and video tutorial lessons, 15 practise sessions. The written practise sessions are marked by an examiner and feedback with corrections are sent. It also contain over 100 model answers to speaking and writing questions. If you want to read offline they are pdf documents provided which can be downloaded.

Then there are courses on vocabulary, lexis and structure.

Of course you can also have access to lots of sample listening and speaking questions on youtube.

I hope this helps.

A little clarification needed please.
I am currently in the EE pool with 363 points and am expecting to get additional 15 points on June 6th for the sibling in Canada. My spouse has just taken the ielts and we are awaiting the result. If the score is 7 in all four categories, what will be our likely crs points.

Thanks in advance

Someone should please answer my question.

eyoiba:
Hello house, my status on the WES site has changed to "Documents Received, review in progress." I sent my certificate via Hellofax. What is the next step to take. Does it mean that they have sent my certificate to my school or i should wait for next instruction from them. Thanks.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Bimpsy99: 6:53pm On May 27, 2017
If they have sent it to your school for verification, your status will state ' awaiting verification from institution' and you will get an email from them once this is done. Documents received only means that they are acknowledging that they received something but they are yet to check it whether it is complete or acceptable for evaluation. This can take them up to 7 days to review depending on the volume of transactions. Has your school sent transcript directly to them yet? If not, follow up with your school.

Transcript is a prerequisite for ECA...you ought to have started the process long before now except your school doesn't delay transcript requests.

U can use d CRS tool/calculator to know d exact score, however d maximum score for spouse's IELTS score is 20. With you present score 363+15(having a sibling there)+20(maximum spouse IELTS score which isn't likely to get all) you have 398 which isn't up to 400 to even get Ontario nomination at d moment. U can try to use your spouse as d principal applicant to see what d new score would look like. If it doesn't work out well then u should rewrite IELTS. We seem to have similar issue. Had to rewrite IELTS I guess on d same day your spouse wrote. Expectant at d moment!

Meanwhile, which province is your sibling? U can check to see if they have an ongoing PNP to tap into it. Also looking forward to dat.

All da best!
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Nobody: 8:18pm On May 27, 2017
WES can be confused sometimes. U guyz just have to understand their processes and question any abnormal status.

After sending my transcripts and verification by my institutions, my status dat was at 'documents received, revuew in progress' went back to d former status of 'documents recieved, waiting for verification from institutions' I got so angry cos I started dis process in January and I've been running between my schools and WES since then. I sent a mail to them and also DM/tweeted them, my status was immediately changed back to 'documents recieved, review in progress'. Those guyz are dream killers honestly preventing to submit my EE application for months now. I pray they don't start another drama next week.

All da best!

Probably the cost for sending hard copies of your degree for verification thru International Express Mail

Which verification? I paid my school 70 pounds to send transcript. These people are crooks. Anyway, they did it really fast. My ECA came out in 2 weeks.
