Anyone Using Ntel On Huawei E5180 4G LTE Cube? by ace1(m): 3:20am On May 27, 2017 |
Hello everyone, I've been trying to setup my Huawei 4G LTE cube but it doesn't work. I've used ntel as apn using static apn. I've also tried using dynamic apn but it still doesn't work. I've contacted their support but they haven't been helpful in anyway. I have an active subscription that has been wasting for days. Please if you are successfully using ntel on your Huawei 4G LTE Cube, please let me know how u set it up |

Is this to say nobody's using it? |

ace1: That's probably the case. Or, equally probable: those others using that device β and have encountered similar issues β have yet to get to see your thread, or come online. So, you may need to be even more patient, considering the device is not exactly very popular on here? (My take.) Good luck. ........ P34c3 ..... ... Edit: Thinking about it further... Try and figure out how, and set your network reception to "4G/LTE Only," and you may just get the device to receive ntel's LTE-only type of signal set up. On some devices, *#*#4636#*#* or *#*#3646633#*#* may help get into the required menu. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |

ace1: Does the Modem detect the NTEL network? Is the problem simply that the modem does not connect to the detected network? |

Ativ: It detects the ntel network but doesn't browse. I've tried using ntel and vox as apn but no success. In settings, if I use static apn option, the modem keeps connecting and disconnecting; while using dynamic apn, the modem stays connected. But still, it doesn't browse. I've also tried it on my iPhone and Lumia devices and it's still the same thing. May I also state here that I've been using this same sim on my lumia before and it was working fine I have contacted ntel severally and they keep saying from their checks there's nothing wrong with my line |

ace1: It seems the problem is with your line. I think your best bet is to get a replacement sim. Ntel usually works with default settings without needing to input the APN. |

Ativ: Ntel support says my line is ok. I just have to dump the ntel network. This is the second time I'm subscribing and not being able to use it. Just ended up wasting my money |

ace1: Have you in the meantime eliminated the possibility that your device may not be in βLTE-Only" mode? Like I mentioned in the first response to your initial post, ntel is an LTE-only network; so it is sometimes notorious for not connecting on some devices, until they're placed in LTE-Only mode. Yet another issue is, ntel is supposed to broadcast on both bands 3 and 8. Some have reported that if a device prefers to choose especially band 8, and that network is down on that band as it's often reported to be, then, browsing is simply not possible, even though the network's signal would appear present. Good luck, anyways β whatever your device's situation with that network is. ........ P34c3 ..... ... |
