I actually thought it was necessary for Barbineaux to be let in on Liv's secret. He was going to find out sooner or later. Better him finding out from Liv herself.

My fave character is Major Lilywhite. He's so cool, I can bet my bottom dollar that he's the one who put the word cool in LL Cool J.

Just out of curiousity, I want to ask, do you also find yourself smacking your lips whenever a scene comes up that's showing Liv squeezing slabs of brains into a hotdog, or say making doughnuts out of brains?! Weird, huh? I think I need to see a shrink to have my head examined.

PB resurrected the series with the same favorite characters, while 24 did not.

Pundits would disagree with the emboldened statement. A quick trawl through the online commentary on the Prometheus character would lay your claims to waste.

A weak-ass villain? Apparently you know little to zero about psychological warfare - a mental chess game in which Adrian Chase repeatedly proved himself to be a grandmaster by always being five steps ahead of Oliver.
Prior to season 5, the most compelling foe Oliver faced happened to be sword-toting Slade Wilson (Deathstroke). Slade Wilson's grievance with Ollie for one was misplaced - he blamed Oliver for Shado's death. Slade's tactic also did not go beyond trying to kill all those close to Oliver before finally settling down to slowly killing Oliver—a narrative I'm certain you'd concede is no more no less a rehash of the go-to strategy of villains who seek to destroy the protagonist(s).

Prometheus' motive(s) on the other hand were more grounded, more deeper, and way more justified. Oliver - a killer - put an arrow in Chase's father all in the name of honouring his dead father's wishes. Do you now see the seething hypocrisy which Chase saw that had him tipped over the edge?
Adrian sought to break Oliver to bits and prove that the very foundations of Ollie's crusade was based on a lie, and that Ollie was only a cold-blooded serial killer who had dreamed up a convenient avenue to justify his murders.

It's glaring Chase is not your garden-variety psychopath. It's just unfortunate if you cannot appreciate the depth of his character.

As for Chase killing himself in order to set off the bombs on Lian Yu: if anything that singular act tells us, it is that Chase is one readily self-destructive SOB hell-bent on crushing every ounce of Oliver's soul, regardless of whether or not he gets to die whilst trying.
Take a cue from Moriaty's suicide in BBC's Sherlock ---- villains who are willing to die, or even kill themselves, so long as it sucks the protagonist into a black hole of mental agony, are usually the WORST OF THE WORST!

If Chase kills all of Team Arrow, do you think Oliver would ever have the spirit to pick up a bow and arrow in his life? I think not! Ergo, Adrian Chase wins and would continue to haunt Oliver post-mortem! Now that, my friend, is how you psychologically devastate a man.

Please, doff your hat for Adrian Chase. The man is a genius!

Season 1 was ok for me. All of a sudden, we had Earth One till Earth "Ehm" i dont know how many. Barry could go back to any time he wanted. and you can have more than 65 harrison wells. Iris becam boring (Prefered her when she was a reporter). I could go on and on, but that spoilt my desire for the series.

I got to love his character towards the end of the series, and I know Cisco would miss him the most.

Cisco was initially disappointed in HR, cos the original HR wells was "Smart" and an inventor, but our season 3 HR just has sweet mouth and carries 2 drum sticks...
