U can use d CRS tool/calculator to know d exact score, however d maximum score for spouse's IELTS score is 20. With you present score 363+15(having a sibling there)+20(maximum spouse IELTS score which isn't likely to get all) you have 398 which isn't up to 400 to even get Ontario nomination at d moment. U can try to use your spouse as d principal applicant to see what d new score would look like. If it doesn't work out well then u should rewrite IELTS. We seem to have similar issue. Had to rewrite IELTS I guess on d same day your spouse wrote. Expectant at d moment!

Meanwhile, which province is your sibling? U can check to see if they have an ongoing PNP to tap into it. Also looking forward to dat.

All da best!

But seriously how difficult is it to use Google?

It's Acknowledgement Of Receipt

Lolz!
Exactly Google will give such answers faster than this forum.

There are better worrying issues as related to express entry, to discuss here.

Ah Bro, you are to assess your highest degree. If you have UK masters, what are you waiting for nah! Don't dull oh!

Verify your UK master's. I bet that will take less time than verifying naija Bsc.

I don't think your PGD alone will fly. You may qualify for "2 or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" if one of your qualifications is for a program of at least 3 years. This is a step just before Masters degree on IRCC ranking of educational qualifications.

Have you considered making your wife the PA since she has UK Masters which earns more marks than a PGD? Is her IELTS result on level 9 too? Is she younger?

You can send me a PM for the Unilag thingy.

Guys,

For the POF, which is better, the requested financial profile or six months statement?

Bear in mind, the account balance hasn't been up to a million. It spiked up to about three million in one month. Is there a way to go about it?

What do you mean by "requested financial profile"? Maybe if you throw more light on your situation, you can get the required advice.

I'm sure you already know the answer to your question (read your responses to Elfman on page 428). What CIC requires is what is stated on CIC's website, you only use 6 months statement if you're unable to get the letter from the bank that states the average balance over 6 months. As for your money spiking up to 3m in one month, you should be able to explain it to CIC using a LOE.

Hello, pls I want to apply under mechanical engineering but the only challenge I have is work experience as am not sure how it works with cic.

The only engineering experience I have is my 6months IT and 1year NYSC. I have an Msc degree from uk and have worked in a uk bank for 1year on contract bases.

Also I have a one man consulting firm but majorly in petroleum marketing and supplies.

Ps: pls I need your advice as I need to claim points for 5years work experience.

Thanks

Why do you need 5 years work experience?

3 years gives you the maximum points under Express Entry. Can you get reference letters/evidence of being employed for the work history that you listed above?

See the picture below for further guidance.

Thank u very much my brother for your response God bless.

Yes I can, I think I have reference letters for my IT and NYSC and can search for a few pay slips in my email for the bank work. But I don't think it will be up to 3years experience. Also do they except bank experience for application made under engineering section of the noc list?

Thanks once more

OK thanks.

Can I start processing my transcript for sending to WES even when they are yet to finish verification.

They verify your transcript from your institution after receiving not before. First thing first:
Register with Wes and get a reference number
School sends transcript to wes indicating ur reference number.(u av to provide the school with wes address)
Wes receives transcripts
Wes verifies transcript from institutionand finally,
Evaluation begins...

And when the evaluation is completed u receive a notification email from WES.
I hope this helps u to understand d process.

Oh! Didn't know PEBC was province specific. That's weird. Anyways you being PA isn't bad either, I just like her scores grin
PEBC is not province specific. the final registration to practice as a pharmacist in canada after writing all your exams IS province specific.

NIPOST isn't bad and they are efficient. I sent mine through NIPOST registered mail with N500 or so and it got there without issues. Faxing should be faster, cheaper and more convenient. Neva used it and don't know how it works.

Thanks for your response. @40manlappy

For the LOE, I know there's no particular format, I'm planning to use sections for each required upload. Is this approach advisable?
