He crashed his so called musical career which only God can resurrect by jumping on every topic and thread then telling ppl he is the next davido in wizkid. Annoyingly irritating then ,let him change his moniker maybe his destinywoll change too

How can a single doctor be handling a patient in critical condition?

Are they short staffed?
he was o n call dont forget, single doctors are on call and when he said senior on call, he might mean someone with 40 years experience. Doctors work in collective decisions.

In this case, the doc. Tried somehow, but in most cases, like my mum's, i watched helplessly as a diabolic doc watched her died an avoidable death!
I wept like a kid!...the traumatic experience hunts me till date!

According to what i read here , You made her became a ghost through your incompetence, calling senior doctors means there are critical patients you can't handle.
Why as some daft people not ashamed to show thier level of IQ,

Repercussions of watching too much home video!

Does doctor smoke?
Said he took Coke which has different meaning, Coke can be cocaine, or a drink which can be laced with any form of hard-drug.

Doc needs to treat himself!

Cant wait to see a ghost...First thing I will ask him is go to the bank and bring money for me.

Don't be afraid. She didn't come to harm u but to register her displeasure that she had to die in ur hands. Not ur fault though and that's d more reason she didn't bother entering ur room. She's passionate about what she left behind(her little kids). U may see her one more time like she came b4 or in a dream this time but never should u be mad or curse at her; u may be asked to deliver a message for her.Be strong

Am not gonna blame a colleague for what he ought or ought not has done, the patient was DOA(dead on arrival) so no matter what the doctor do, she's still is going to die because the post surgical sepsis has already taken over her system and she's a light waiting to go out but I have a few analysis to clear the air on those arguing Wether the doctor is competent or not

1. A surgery done three days prior in a state specialist cannot be that worse even if the patient refuse to take any antibiotics since after the surgery (which is not possible because the patient's antibiotics must have been monitored by the nurses unless the patient was discharged immediately after surgery).

2. Taking orders from superiors is paramount and normal in a teaching and specialist hospitals but you can't be asking your consultant or senior colleagues for advice one hour later before giving paracetamol 600mg to a patient whose temp is off the chart,
You gave cephalosporin good, you have antiamoebic good, then you stop, no anti pyretic given and you went to sit down until one hour later before giving pcm, totally wrong on that

Conclusion: the op is probably a doctor but probably on his first week of house manship

Good analysis!!
Ur no 1 point......u ever heard of gas gangrene? It kills faster than Ebola u know!

As a Nurse, I understand what the doc is saying.
My early days when I started working in an FMC, It took me a bit of time to adjust my mindset well over issues like that.
Psychology is a strong thing, it can control a person mindset.
The Doc. tried his best, He should free his mind and relax his nerves.

That could be a vision that was prompted by too much stress. Its more like light mode hallucination.

exactly my thought. hallucination is one thing ppl r yet to come to terms wit. I once lived in a house for many yrs without knowing that tins wia buried in d compound nd I did not experience any strange feelings.
But the d very day I was told dat tins were buried in the compound that was d moment I started having strange dreams.
The reason for d strange dreams was simply fear.

Don't let devil play on your mind. You have already sent him away in the name of Jesus. Free you mind from fear, it is a demonic weapon used to weaken faith.

You have problem.

you came up with the doctor incompetence you were busted.

you then came up with the number of doctors?

just rewrite UTME and spend 8years in medical school..
may be your own consultant will teach you:

-the pathogenesis of death
-Anti-death drug and its pharmacology
-Anti-deathoplasty,the procedure and complication.

It's better you just face your musical carrier!

All i see here is pride.. He maybe ignorant and u shouldnt have insulted his person before passing across your message.. Pride is too much in ur content and it seems u are a medical doctor..

Learn not to be wrong too while correcting a wrong..

There was a disconnection. The woman was expecting the man to agree with her but along the way the care giver lost the woman when he was told she won't make it.From what the op said he should have pray a simple prayer of agreement with her besides the op lacks experience to cater for a patient in such critical condition. Her spirit was not willing to leave the body at that time hence she followed you.

You are solely responsible for that woman's death because your chosen actions and in action contributed 80% ..when you observed the temperature was way above what thermometer can read you should have persuaded the senior "quack doctor " to at least do a better observation. All the same man treats but the Almighty GOD heals...move on but not without trying to know what actually led to that woman's death and how to manage such a patient next time.
