We all know what is playing out here. Whenever these Igbos feel they are in a situation whereby they can't compete nationally with the Yorubas and hausas they turn around and look towards their own version of mini Nigeria aka "Biafra" where they can lord over the minorities over there with no one to challenge them . The main reason why Mid-Westerners sought separation was that Ibadan was too far. It was not pragmatic to travel to Ibadan all the time in order to align with the government. That was why we wanted Benin as the capital so that government can be close to the people.

Secondly, minorities would always want to be free of majorities, whether or not they treated us well. We wanted our cultural heritage to be preserved. For the fact the Yorubas allowed us to go our way shows that they meant well for us.
