Any precautionary measures to take when filing for a CES please, for those who's gone through it, don't want to make any mistakes....kindly share,.......epp a sista

1. Do not add any post basic (speciality) , focus only on either your diploma RN or Bsc to save money and time.

2. Then avoid delays from your side.

3. If you can, use courier service for your mails, so you can track your documents/correspondence easily. ( DHL)

4. Your date of birth is very important, be mindful of your birth certificate and passport. Goodluck

Now to my question, pls what's your take on using ierf? Cgfns has been giving a lot of people ish (maybe due to large vol of clients)...
I'm also planning to go through Nevada then endorse with Texas later on.!!
Is ierf advisable? Doesn't look like they even require ielts
Or should I just expedite the cgfns since I will be doing visa screen with them?

I had posted a link earlier on this forum about 2 pages back. It's on all US BON and their individual requirements most states don't accept any other evaluating body other than. Cgfns and besides they have a more acceptable reputation even though presently they havent been acting up-to expectation. If Nevada accepts
Ierf ,good if not...... I would say stick with CGFNS, the devil you know.
It would be better for you because it would be easier to proceed with visa screen since they have most of ur documents (licence and transcripts) instead of having to resend them again after having done CES with another body.

I went through School of Nursing before proceeding for my degree at the university. When processing with CES which cert will I present to them.?

You don't have a problem...
I have a BSN too, but I only used my diploma,all the way.
It's not as if the 2 are not useful, but I know that your diploma transcripts states more in terms of your clinical /practical work and time spent than the BSc would state

Like P406 said, it depends on you.. Both are OK. But to keep things simple and straightforward, use only your Diploma RN.
Reason: I used same to New York board.. In the end my Diploma was approved by New York Education Department (University of the State of New York), as being equal to the Nursing education in New York.
Whatever Cgfns sends to New York board will be further evaluated.
