I have no issue with that. Most of them call themselves kenyan asians anyway but kenyans simply refer to them as Indians regardless of where they originated from

Swahili is a Bantu language with many borrowed words from Arabic. It existed long before the arrival of the first visitors on the East African coast who were Arabs.

The Swahili morphology is similar to that of other Bantu languages. For example, when constructing a syllable just like in all other Bantu languages there are six structures i.e.
(1) Consonant and vowel e.g. dada(sister)
(2) Syllables formed from vowels only e.g. oa(marry)
(3) Syllables formed from consonants only e.g. mtu(person)
(4) Syllables formed from more than one consonants and vowel e.g.ngoja (wait)
(5) Syllables formed from a consonant semi vowel and a vowel e.g. mwalimu (teacher)
(6) Syllables formed from two consonants a semi vowel and a vowel eg mbwa (dog)

Bantu languages have nouns that are grouped into different categories known as noun classes. These divisions are based on grammatical agreement in a sentence brought about by subject noun agreement; Swahili has noun classes which also rely on subject noun agreement.
Lastly, Swahili language has five vowels (a,e,i,o,u) just like other Bantu languages.

In fact, English is more Germanic than Swahili is Arabic.

Naaah East Africa is really cosmopolitan, Arabs and Indians been here for 1000 plus years. So they mix with locals and swahili is born. Swahili language and Swahili culture. But Swahili is bantu, in grammar and syntax. Actually there are more Portuguese words than Indian words

It was being spoken by the people residing from the Southern Coast of Somalia, and in the Kenyan coast before it eventually spread to Tanzania, all the way to Mozambique and much later into the hinterlands of the east coast.

May I inform u sir, that Kiswahili is 80% Bantu, with some of its words borrowed from Arabic, Poetuguese, Hindi and English....even German.

In some places in Kenya and Tanzania, there are dialects of swahili being spoken, which seems unadulterated by forign influence. It is purely bantu.

Kiswahili originated in Kenya. Lamu to be specific - the region used to be called Shungwaya by then. The Zanzibari Sultanate later came to rule the whole Swahili speaking regions reason why many people believe Kiswahili originated in Zanzibar.
