TheSuperNerd: But in the 2 editions we won the U17 WC we didn't go as CAF champions. The team showed promise from their group games I watched. I think they will do well at the WC proper if they can prepare well and keep playing matches. |

Uhmmmm..... Did you just say PSG?? hian! na wa ooo... Una get Cavani naa.... Abeg, we want playing time for our boy... if you can guarantee that.. fine then... If not back off! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exclusive: Paris Saint-Germain Hoping To Snatch Iheanacho From Under West Ham's Noses French moneybags Paris Saint-Germain are making a late swoop to secure the signature of the talented Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report. West Ham have emerged as the frontrunner to secure the services of the Manchester City wonderkid but face serious competition from PSG, and don't have the financial muscle to compete with the Ligue 1 powerhouse if it goes into a bidding war. PSG are monitoring the situation of Iheanacho as they consider him one of the most exciting youngsters in Europe, and certainly believe that he has to leave Manchester City to further his career after falling out of favour with manager Pep Guardiola. Les Parisiens are confident of sealing a deal for the Super Eagles star because they believe West Ham is not a high caliber club like PSG, but are aware that the decision to come to France or stay with a smaller club in England lies with the striker. Iheanacho, 20, has also been linked with possible moves to Borussia Dortmund, TSG Hoffenheim and Leicester City. He departed the Super Eagles training camp in Paris on Saturday, but is expected to rejoin the squad ahead of Thursday's international friendly with Togo. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Photo Credit : mancity.com Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23219 1 Like |

Yep.... We didn't but the Ghanaians were not looking at that. They were looking at the fact that Nigeria eventually became world beaters and Champs. I say they give their team a chance. The boys can be worked on to be even stronger. Icon4s: |

Danycrusoe: Yes o!!! Friday Ubong is on a crazy run of form right now. He got the ball outside the box on the left and just let go an unstoppable shot that rifled into the top right corner. I am not exaggerating when I say 2 keepers wouldn't have stopped it. I also have to give the coach Abdu Maikaba a lot of credit, from what I am see he is the best coach in Nigeria. Akwa was without Alhassan, Ifeanyi and Aremu but yet made it look easy. |

When will one good club just man up and sign this real deal of a player called Oghenekaro Etebo?? They are always scouting.... I keep saying it... if Etebo was Etebinho who scored four goals in one game at the Olympics plus his star sparkling performances for the Super Eagles since he walked into Rohr's team, he would have been wrapping up the 2016/17 season with either PSG, Man Utd, Leicester, Monaco, Atletico, Madrid even (he got more fuel and energy than Casemiro #fact)..... nonsense!!!! Etebo... your time is coming... A lamp placed high on a hill can only shine and can't be stopped from illuminating all around it.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exclusive : Lyon Scouting Super Eagles New Star Oghenekaro Etebo In France French Ligue 1 club Lyon are mulling over a summer move for Nigeria U23 poster boy Oghenekaro Etebo. A Lyon insider has informed this website that they are delighted with the performances of the midfielder since he linked up with Portuguese setup CD Feirense in 2016, and will continue to observe him when Nigeria tackle Togo in Paris on Thursday. ''The player Etebo is also being looked at by OL (Olympique Lyonnais), he is very pacy,'' a Lyon insider told allnigeriasoccer.com . ''Scouts there tell us he might fit well into their team with three high profile expected departures from their midfield/attack this summer.'' With Etebo yet to sign a new contract with CD Feirense, the Primeira Liga outfit are willing to cash in on the Nigerian or he'll leave for nothing at the end of the 2017-2018 season. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23220 1 Like |

Normal service of home wins returned to the NPFL after historic away wins last weekend. Only one away goal scored, no draws.. |

Danycrusoe: Muazzam is not a hidden talent though. We already knew of his ability from the under 17/20 and if not for injuries and MRI, he should be playing at a higher level by now. It is about whether he can play at a higher level now. There are hidden talents in the league but it is hard to gauge whether they are really 'national level' good or just the usual flash in the pan. That is why CHAN is important, it helps us assess the players and decide those that can play at a higher level. That is why it is critical to select young players for CHAN. People that has spent less than 5 years in the league. I believe that no matter how talented you are, if you spend too long playing at a low level, you might be unable to raise your game beyond a certain level. Sincerely, I do not want to see an Obaje in CHAN. I will prefer if that under 17 kid is taken. 1 Like |

The way the English media hype en, nawa. If u watch how sky sports are hyping the EFL play off coming up this afternoon, they are saying it's the richest game in the world, dude could v kuku said it's more a important game than the Wc final. we need a media outfit that can build the image of our leagues like this, supersport can do that, but they won't. 1 Like |

Patrick Kluivert Reveals Ajax Still Pushing To Sign Arsenal, Barcelona Linked Nigerian Prodigy Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam have not thrown in the towel as regards to the pursuit of American-born Nigerian wonderkid Lateef Omidiji Jnr. Bearing it in mind that the highly-rated teenager can't be signed by a foreign club until he attains the age of majority, Feyenoord pulled off a transfer coup when they snapped him up from Dordrecht FC last month. Despite that, Real Madrid and Barcelona are still in the hunt to land Omidiji as they believe the kid is the future of world football. Ajax Amsterdam hero Patrick Kluivert, who is now the director of football for Paris Saint-Germain, has revealed that Ajax are still interested in the young striker, but he will do everything possible to bring him to PSG. It is believed that Premier League side Arsenal have an agreement in place to sign Omidiji when he turns eighteen. Meanwhile, it is understood that the United States Soccer Federation are on the verge of making a major announcement with regards to the international future of Lateef Omidiji, while the Nigerian and Dutch FA are also interested in capping the player. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23221 |

Why won't you want to see a Godwin Obaje...?? Lad hasn't even spent up to three years in the NPFL.... so why say no to him? And Ejike Uzoenyi did well at the CHAN and was even MVP, yet he is no closer to any higher level. Chisom Chikatara nko? Did well at the last CHAN yet no one talks about him anymore. It is true we need the CHAN to assess our homebased players more but it is also no guaranteed benchmark of quality. My Point? Let's not put all our eggs into the CHAN as regards Home-based lads... can't remember Etebo playing in the CHAN sef... and CHAN started 2009. tbaba1234: |

tbaba1234: U knew his ability but u didn't want any NPFL players near the national team. All that has happened is that he has proved his numbers in the NPFL are no fluke. IMO the credit should go to Abdu Maikaba who has coached him the last 2 seasons. CHAN is for the best performing players in the NPFL. It just so happens that the best performing players this season are mostly young. Obaje is a young man that has found his form, if u like it or not as long as he keeps scoring he will be on the CHAN team sheet. Although right now Sunday Adetunji should be the CHAN starting 9. |

And while many countries are now looking at us as a benchmark and using our templates to develop their cadet teams, guess what we are doing - JONZING. I hope we get back to those long camping periods that helped Manu Garba pick a strong, skillful and cohesive unit. B4 we played a game it was not a matter of if they were going to win, it was a matter of by how many goals were they going to win with. Only CIV had that teams mugu button. All others were sent to the cleaners. We should utilize all the youth competitions staged in every corner of Naija to our advantage. TheSuperNerd: |
