Some people. Well, I don't know for this guy. This is the same man that said the youths (others) should go to neighboring african countries if they can't leave and/or afford to live in Nigeria due to blown out feeding cost and other expenses.

Now you want their prayers. In you administration was life hard for the youths like this? Instead of using your mentorship to correct things you side and encourage badness that is widely seen even to the blind.

Are you now disappointed in your appointed messiah and now you know the polity is in danger amidst rising tension especially from angered youths hence you need prayers

And someone will just come and talk out of point. You need to study more again as OBJ said. 9 years schooling system. That guy who was accusing Nigerian youths of watching BBnaija and talking on Nairaland.

Is that guy a Nigerian?? Lols grin grin grin grin

Oh dats what you are upset about? Yours is far better. "maybe" I will be able to forgive this man if he withdraw that his statement. and I quote "education is not for poor people".
In a country like 9ja where we have over 170m people, and over 100m people is living in abject poverty, and to think that the president could make such a stupid statement, shows he has nothing valuable to add to mankind let alone his country.
what is existence without education.

very soon the federal govt will declare 7days public holiday so that we can collectively pray for all our past leaders to stay alive forever.

I don't think the youths are really better off or tired of the current system.

The youths are d ones helping these old men to power.

How can someone who is ready to collect 100k and ignore his right to help a politician ascend the throne be ready to lead?
Who steals ballot boxes during election time
The same youths.
Are you for real? OBJ and co systematically crippled our educational system, our schools are nothing more than training ground for zombies. Nigeria has failed to educate the minds of the next generation, that is why the whole country is virtually collapsing around us. We have progressively gotten poorer due to their retrogressive policies hence why someone will collect #100k to fight for politicians. What choices does the average Nigerian youth have, either fight for them or face brutal repression from the security forces.

I don't see the 38 year old French president asking for advise and guidance . The structures are there to follow. Governance is a creative position, you can't have people who can create and innovate in government.

His wife is his mentor!!! He probably wouldn't be president without her.

Every leader need Advisers. He needs the drive and strength of the young people and experience of the elders.

@Topic
Baba Obj, nobody wish you dead. All we want is a system that will allow for generational shift in leadership.
Experience can be coded and institutionalized.
That is why Barcelona remains a great football club long after Ronaldinho. Why Brazil and Germany are great football nations. Look at Julius Berger on the field their top engineers are white and YOUNG. Knowledge and experience can be transmitted generationally and often is. The sad part is this is equally true for foolishness and superstitiousness.
This is why certain expertise is embedded in Firms like Mercedes like Sony like Apple like Toyota.
It is just like language in a people ito becomes part of their DNA it is handed over from one generation but each generation faces it's own unique challenges.
We do not have much to learn about governance from 80 year olds

Don't mind them sir.those youths who wish your generation dead are not better off.most of them do not even know their left from right, they want to become leaders of tomorrow.
Majority of them are intellectually bankrupt, they can't even manage their personal lives.
Nigeria is better in the hands of your generation, not these youths who have embraced foolishness.
If you see how they operate on social media and treasure programs like Big brother Naija, you will definitely give up on them.
When you see them on nairaland, they must use every post as an opportunity for ethnic and tribal hostility.
Most of them know how to spell Afonja and Igbo, but they cannot make a simple correct sentence in English language.
Everyone can never be like you

Can you really be mentored if you have not being given the opportunity.? The old should step aside give opportunity to the youth, watch them learn how to lead then correct their inadequacy.

If he(Obasanjo) doesn't know, his manner and style of leadership wished the Nigerian youths more death than he could ever imagine.Where is the constant power he promised when he was in government? And where is the money the government of then budgeted for such capital intensive project?Did
I hears you say he pocketed the money? You're right if you say so.

We don't have leaders in this part of the world. We do things like people who have no head to reason. Maybe it's because at some point in our lives probably when we're much younger,we have use our head to carry one heavy load or the other, and that has suppressed our ability to reason deeply.Because the average Nigerian do not reason deeply. We tend to focus on the immediate, and never plan for the future.
