[quote author=glucklichewelt post=56957868]Good day people, happy Sunday to you all!

Please I have some questions that requires clarification

1. I have someone that is willing to give me sponsorship letter but he said I shd find out how its done ie the procedure...can someone pls explain to me?

2. Do I have to go for interview with the originals of all my documents? Esp study documents? I was reading thru the checklist and saw it highlighted.

Please people make una answer me ejoor, biko. Na beg I dey beg ooo

Your sponsor needs to make an appointment at the Ausländerbehörde in his city.

They would give he/she a date to come in, as well as the required documents to bring along to verify that he/she is suitable to be your sponsor for your visa. It cost 25€

Once your sponsor has fulfilled all the necessary requirement, he would be issued a document, which is the sponsorship letter, duly stamped (that is the sponsorship letter). He needs to send the copy to you as the embassy needs to see the original format. You can ask that he/she scans it before sending it via courier, as you would need it for requesting a date for your visa interview.
[quote]
All what your sponsor needs from you is your full name (as it appears on your passport) date of birth birth and your address here in Nigeria (for the courier)

How do people fund their blocked account considering all the recent problems with the Nigerian banking system?

I was thinking A-form, but that's mainly for tuition fees and you'll need a school's tuition invoice and the payment can only be made to institutional bank accounts.

So how can one transfer money to his own blocked account?

@Olanrewaju92 your informed perspective will be helpful.

Form A still works if u meet d right banker ... Ú will Need to get breakdown of living expense invoice from your school. That's little I know of.

U could make more research from previous pages too. Sallam

Hello Okezie007. I was also taken aback by mrbigman1 's response to you cos I honestly didn't get the impression of doubt or disbelief in your question to him. Anyways, I also know the person he's talking about. The person got admission into at least 3 masters programmes with a 3rd class degree. The Universities that I know of who offered him places are TH Koln, University of Freiberg and BTU Cottbus. It's not all about the class of degree an applicant has, a combination of criteria are used in making the decision. An excellent letter of motivation and relevant working experience are very helpful especially in this type of situation.
well-done bro #InfoAppreciated

Guten morgen,
In respect to the second question, for interview just take along any documents u know (abeg, make e be original - at least to prove some level of authenticity and genuineness in the presence of the VO u meet). It would be worthwhile even ur birth certificate. I'm kinda sure the way they treat case of Mr.A might be different from that of Mr.B
All in all, our prayer is that our case be different (that's in positive feedback)

We shall all fall in this winter let our enemies go on holiday and never come back (Amin)

I got admission but unfortunately the school recently introduced a 1500€ school fees. I'm waiting for other schools to reply... So while waiting my question is this:

Can I use the current admission letter to open a block account and apply for visa interview but on the interview day use a different school admission letter?

Pls don't ask me to read from part 1/2 of this thread because we all know there has been some "Change" both in Nigeria and the German Embassy regulations these days. Thanks smiley

Congrats first of all!!! grin so finally this re-introduction of school fees is real, and have commenced. shocked What school is that, and is it msc or bsc?.
then to answer your question, yes you can use the current admission letter to fire down, in fact it is advisable to begin with it, especially the blocked account opening.
then pray that other admission letters come too before your interview date, or else you would also be forced to still use that particular admission letter for the interview. however, if others still come after the interview, when you get to germany, the state where this school is, you can later switch to any other preferable school you get along the line. i know so many distant peeps and even close paddies who did that, even last winter, so no need to fear.

About the reintroduction of sch fees, it's just for a particular state/region, the Baden Württemberg. And also, its not yet finalised. I got an admission into Stuttgart, and they said that by the end of this month or before the mid of next, they will let me know on their decision as regards the fees. So I am hopeful.

U can ask for attestation letter from Admin block. The procedure is very easy, just a formal letter asking for that. It takes less than 30mins to get. But i still know of someone who went for the interview with the statement of result graduated 2014 too from Unizik.
I hope this helps

It has been officially decided... Maybe your admission arrived before the decision. After all its already end of the month.
