What exactly are Osus contributing to this blessed country?

Resources they don't have
IGR they cannot generate.

Human Capital is being wasted on crime such as developing Indonesia

Technology is adulterated and only good for fake drugs and products.

What is their usefulness in t country apart from adding to our population size?
Can we just give all this fighting a break, take a moment, and have a jovial discussion here for a change?

Ngwakwe the former mod, those figures are based on data released recently by the Nigerian Bureau for Statistics as indicated in my post above.

Anambra was also missing on that list for some strange reason ( grin) and the figures remain the same with the ones released recently. The ranking was simply done by comparing the IGR figures to federal allocation.

Leave Ngwakwe out of this and let's debate intelligently for the benefit of Nairaland free readers association.

Can we have the link to NBS 2016 IGR report and let's juxtapose it with the last three years compilations already posted.

What do you mean?

Did you see any reference where the computation was derived?

The report is an assumption or at best partial computation where comprehensive reporting on States IGR where shredded in secrecy.

On a more serious note, learn not to be stupid rather courteous when next you quote my comments.

The states report their own IGR stats and base their budgets partially on it. Hence why Anambra is missing. If your saying Ebonyi is lying about their stats tell the thread what they benefit from it?

I agree nothing is very transparent in Nigeria. It's sad your only excellent at half thought out post. You're simply mad you've been exposed for dull. Your excellency must be in some unknown area in life.

However, Anambra state is yet to report its Full Year 2016 Internally Generated Revenue figure.

I had time to debate tonight but perhaps not on this platform due to the childishness of its contributors and their lack of manners.

I thought boys grew to become men but alas this is Nigeria where there is no improvement in human behaviour notwithstanding age count.

Bye.

Do you believe that Ebonyi State according to my argument that generated 8.2 billion in 2012, then 10.4 billion in 2013 and 11 billion plus in 2014 suddenly got 2 billion in 2016?

Anambra being the light of the igbo race has decided not to participate in this afonja-calculated scam called viability index. The NBS under the leadership of an afonja is desperately trying to portray a certain part of the country notorious for skull mining as viable. But we are not deceived.

Why not? Sh!t happens, you can independently investigate the reason for the dramatic drop in revenue if you care. It is absolutely up to you to disprove Ebonyi's figures with verifiable facts.

Besides who am I (or you for that matter) to not believe the NBS? Do you have a more authoritative or reputable source for Ebonyi's data?

I think not so it is what it is Ngwakwe.

Why are you picking on Ebony?? Give a concrete and fact-based reason why we shouldn't believe Ebonyi figures, coz the onus is on you to disprove the veracity of their declared numbers. The same Ebonyi failed to declare its IGR for about two straight years before 2016, probably coz they had nothing to show. Why not talk about Anambra who have refused to declare even N1 naira for 2016? You people can be so shameless that it ain't even funny. Una hypocrisy no get part 2.

Well done indeed, I'm impressed by Ogun State really.

We are waiting for Fayemi's solid minerals master-plan to be implemented in order to fully exploit our potential, so you guys might be getting some competition from us real soon wink.

Despite FG double bailout funds 12 states can't pay salaries, five southwestern states fully represented grin grin, that's what we should be discussing not the fabricated stories by governors, people are dying in numbers, no infrastructures on ground so where is the high IGR going

How can a positive arithmetic progression (2012 - 2014) suddenly turn negative in 2016 upon all the State's investments in rice where they sold one bag of 50kg of rice for N18, 000 instead of the usual N7, 500?

It is certainly impossible hence the figures are grossly understated for whatever reasons best known them.

Have you not seen profitable companies suddenly go bankrupt due to poor management? What does the sudden mysterious absence of 2015 IGR tell you?

Do you have the revenue figures for the sale of Ebonyi rice (since that's where you expect your N9 billion magic to come from cheesy)?

Until you do so your submission is baseless.

The question should be, how come in some States there weren't 2015 IGR report and yet the so-called data managers went ahead to allocate figures for 2016?

My submission is baseless to you because you pretend to be blind.
