You may be above the bench mark if it will be used this year regarding med&sur, but, your chances of getting medicine is very slim.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

You may decide to buy Jamb change of course/institution form changing it to Biochemistry or Microbiology and during putme/screening registration, you can choose another course in chemistry or industrial chemistry, chemistry education or biology education.

OR

Ignore buying the change of JAMB course/institution form , but choosing Biochemistry, Microbiology, industrial chemistry, chemistry ,chemistry education or biology education as your second choice of course of study during putme/screening registration.

my brother had 245 in jamb and he's applying for medicine, what's he's chances of getting in pls.

The bench mark of Med&Surg was 230 last year. Using it as a yardstick, his changes of getting medicine is slim.

you can read up a reply I gave earlier to med&surg aspirant. it might be of help to him.

I had 257 and applied for law but scored 257 in jamb.. I'm also still within uniben's catchment... Wanna opt for faculty of education.. Don't wanna write jamb again.

Anyway, how abt pub admin, ISD? you're still within
catchment area so anything is possible, give up not.

see let me tell u something, its not by changing to a less competitive course that your admission will be guaranteed.........admission is like sport betting (50/50) except connection though......its plain luck.. ........most of my guys studing bms(anatomy) course now in 100lv scored more than 290(although they applied for medicine).....its luck.. just have faith

UNDER SOCIAL SCIENCES BROCHURE, 2016 UNIBEN was listed.

so change of course to accounting is safer with my jamb combo. since commerce is a social science too?

It is safe changing it to entrepreneurship(CED)
Under uniben social science, commerce is insignificant.

Uniben cut off is 200 and as at last year, I think the bench mark stood between 210-215.

With these, you can draw out a conclusion.

Yeah not even a C4 nor B nor A is recorded in my o level grades..
Plain C6 all through.
Incase uniben adopts o level grading method it'll be detrimental

since admission now is devoid of postutme then my law aspiration has been dampened.
SO I'll choose library and information sciences. Heard the course is still nascent in uniben.
Since I'm within uniben's catchment then I guess I'm good to go.
