it is becoming important that the issue of PROOF OF FUND/ OTHER REASONS FOR REJECTION POST ITA be addressed by the Gurus in the house and probably be included in the first page of the thread. Many people lack experiences on how to go about it(them). cc: Guru/Experienced 2 Likes |

colegold100: True. Alternatively, a POST ITA thread should be opened to discuss these issues. If you review these thread, you will find out that many of the issues are mainly on WES and IELT (PRE ITA) and very few of POST ITA. However, POST ITA is the main phase of the application and there are a lot of bottlenecks. Even people get rejected for just Digital photo alone. I am not trying to disregard PRE ITA phase. However, the separation will assist participants with concentration and questions will be customised. This will definitely assist people with how to tackle PRE ITA phase and when the individual is successful with ITA, he/she can then move over to the POST ITA phase. Little is being said about the processes undertaken by VOs during POST ITA phase - How background checks are carried out, what type of digital photo you need, whether distance learning education requires PCC (a major reason for rejection), how to avoid gift deeds and pension as POF etc 10 Likes |

Nobody has ever been rejected for digital photo. Don't pass wrong information. I understand your stance on the Post ITA but the truth is that the reason this thread is mainly on Pre ITA is because a whole lot of us are too lazy to read ,so the same question gets asked and answered up to 3 times in a page. The success of a post ITA depends on willing successful moderators who can direct us accordingly but truth is they also have their personal life to deal with,so they may not be available promptly when you need immediate answer. That's why this thread seems to help us atleast the gurus still pop in once in a while to give their advices. Boss13: 6 Likes |

Boss13: Perhaps this POST ITA thread should finally be created. All I know is that the reason they are not enough answers is cos you have to know that there are few active people on this thread who have gotten the COPR. Vcole, Zandora, Dupyshoo, who were active pre and post ITA were active after. Those who just come and drop their success stories check their post before ITA they were not so active. That's how they will be post ITA thread. Those of us active now are post ITA have been fort coming I know that I won't be inactive for at least a year after COPR. 9 Likes |

Does anyone have an idea of where I can get a document notarized in Lagos and cost. It's a 2-page document to be precise. |

Good day house, very informative thread. I am the PA and I have my ECA. I will like to know how many points my husband's credential evaluation (B.Sc) will add to my CRS score. Thank you. |

Caution: I dey vex as I type this! All these people talking about creating thread here and there. It's so funny. You are complaining about this thread not having enough info so the need for another thread. Have you asked yourselves what you have contributed to this thread to make it what you want? Just a few people here actually spend their time and energy providing the info they FOUND THEMSELVES AND DECIDED TO SHARE. Nobody is being paid by anybody to provide info, we are all here to help each other. If only we can stop being lazy and use simple GOOGLE to find info, and SHARE with others, then this thread would be great. Instead newbies come to ask same questions that have been answered over and over, then at the end start looking for new threads. Please people read!!!! Spend time on cic or canadavisa websites and get info!!!! Stop looking for who will go and search and come spoon-feed you!!!! 20 Likes |

And I am angry because this thread is very helpful. Last year someone told my hubby and I about Express Entry. I searched on Google and saw this thread. After reading the first page, I went to every single link Zandora shared there, did our ECA and IELTS and created our profile. We got our ITA and now waiting for PPR. In all this, I don't think I asked more than 1 question for clarification on this thread. So if you think this thread is not helpful, please look for another you think will be helpful and take your laziness somewhere else. 19 Likes |

Hello Fam, Myself and Wifey have saved up (not loan) the required POF in 2 different cooperative societies with our different names. We intend to liquidate the funds into her account because she is the PA. My concerns are: -Since one of the cooperative funds is in my name, it means the funds will have to be liquidated into my bank account and I will need to transfer it to her account. I intend to get a letter of introduction from the cooperative informing CIC that the funds is NOT a loan, rather it Is my savings towards our quest for immigration and the letter will be attached to our application. Is allowing spouse to transfer money into the PA’s account allowed at all? If it is, how do I explain the huge lodgement made to her account at once, say 1.5M? - Since she will also be liquidating her cooperative too, how can she explain the huge lodgement, say another 1.5M without flouting CIC requirement especially because all the funds will be less than 3 months old in the account as we are sure to get ITA in the next draw. - Her international passport is still in her maiden name, and she needs to renew it early next year, should she maintain the name on her new passport to avoid complications or do a new passport with her married name. Note: her maiden name is on our EE account and IELTS result and we have a marriage certificate from a federal court. Thanks Gurus, I will really appreciate your response to these burning concerns. |

Boss13: Kindly share your timeline and pre and post ITA experiences here. All can be tackled here. The reason why there are more IELTS and WES comment is because quite a few of us are pre ITA and the remaining are post ITA . All what you've written can be shared here. 2 Likes |

merrymum: This is no need for you to be angry. People are different and nobody can or will be like you. On canadavisa.com, all questions, regardless of how ridiculous, are being answered. Also, there are separate threads (PRE ITA, ITA and POST ITA phases). Advising someone to go back to a thread and start reading from the beginning is not encouraging because you do not know the person's circumstances or time pressure. In view of this, I salute those who go as far as answering every question regardless of type. Another thing I need to state here - how did people come about gift deed? It was actually from the Indians on Canadavisa.com. If we do not deliberate to sort out issues, we are not helping. A lot of people actually think getting ITA is the end of it and that is because of the emphasis being placed on getting ITA. Actually getting ITA is just the beginning. Also, someone said nobody has ever been rejected based on digital photo and I want that person to submit the wrong specification first. There is nothing wrong to comment on POST ITA issues here, but it seems sidelined by PRE ITA issues and those on POST ITA phase seem to go elsewhere to get information. 8 Likes |

ottawaboi: POF can either be in the name of the primary applicant or in the name of the spouse. Nothing wrong in POF being in your name. No need to transfer to your wife. Please note that this is just my opinion. The supposed problem with your POF is your cooperative, because the VO will need to confirm objectively that you have the money you claimed in your application and I do not know how your cooperative will satisfy that. You can either get a certificate from your cooperative after you liquidate the funds to show when the investment was made and when it was liquidated. This can assist the VO to form an opinion that the money in your statement of account is actually from your cooperative. Also, like I said previously, no need transferring the money again to your wife. It may appear you are trying to conceal something. Please note that I said, it may appear. Then you can explain your proof of funds in your letter of explanation. And if you can liquidate this cooperatives investment today, please do, but get the certificate and letter from them and also hope your cooperative is registered. On your wife's international passport, she has two choice - wait next year to get a new one or apply with the old one. Also, the name on her passport must be the same on her application. There is a section for applicants who have other names - she can then put her new name there. Then support with marriage certificate, affidavit and newspaper column for change of name. |

merrymum: While I'm not angry, I agree with you. I've learnt a lot from this thread and I've asked a few questions (still pre-ITA) however, I find myself helping people that are on WhatsApp groups as some don't even know about gift deed. Smh All I know is that page 0 on this thread is sufficient and then one can ask questions that are in line with their predicament. Even as at that it's been repeated time and time again to allow your POF remain in your acc for 4- 6 months and then back up with a convincing LOE if less than 6 months. I don't think there's anything else unless you want the gurus to come and fill and submit for you. 5 Likes |
