Ogun state generates more Revenue than states in the East and like threw times.. Lol Wouldn't be surprised if they start saying We made Ogun.. We own 90% properties/investments like they always do and your states are languishing in poverty...
Nice. Then why has the subject of resource control been a controversial one since 1999? Again, I find it hard to believe that Bayelsa and Akwa-ibom states each have IGR lower than that of ogun state.... Maybe IGR isn't an accurate index for evaluating the contribution of a state to the country's economy. Or perhaps , proceeds from mining and exploration activities in a state isn't factored into the state's economic relevance?

Ogun with high IGR nothing on ground, deplorable roads all over the state, rated highest by NPF on suicide cases because of poverty, still owing salaries, 97% of the industries in Ogun are owned by Non Yorubas, their govt doesn't look back while taxing unlike Anambra were 99% of the industries and markets are control by indigenes, Ogun state government makes more money while the citizens are in penury, Anambra citizen doubled their Ogun state counterpart on five years transactions

According to you 97% of the industries in Ogun are owned by non yorubas which in actual sense yiu are trying to say they are owned by igbos... How did you first get the 97% data you stated?? Funny people like yiu have never visited Ogun yet you know the industries ain't owned by Yorubas....isnt thatvridiculous??Thats the normal Yiboe attitude always claiming good things in other region yet theirs is dying a slow death

So that what he can achieve with huge debt sucked on your generation and unborn
That is more like it.USA happens to be more indebted than almost all African countries joined together but still more buoyant economically, but that stat is even 2 years ago and the FG is owing Ogun state up to 200 billion naira.
Ogun state would surely buy up Anambra state 10 times.

They can't look inward until the revenue dries up. Even if it has dwindled, at least they still collect enough to embezzle.

Think of it... If you make a law that makes it impossible for Governors not to have access to the treasury, no single governor would want to contest for elections... So you complain about recession, but they keep feeding their fat bellies

Then you have to be ready for thousands of people to die. Ordinary recession, governors could not pay 8 months salary talkless of taking the money away permanently

My friend stop deceiving your people stop comparing advance nation that manage funds well with your backward state, FG is also owing Anambra state, there is poverty in your land, people are committing suicide in numbers

comparing Ogun and Anambra is absorbed, Anambra economy is 98% indigenous unlike Ogun, 90% of industries in Ogun are owned by non Yorubas, this is facts.

ANAMBRA STATE, The Economic Heartbeat of Nigeria - Prof Yemi Osibanjo

In the just concluded Project Tour and the Anambra State Town Hall Meeting with the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osibanjo and the Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Sen. Aisha Al Hassan as well as the Minister for Employment and Productivity, Sen. Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige; members of the National Assembly and host of members of the presidential working team, the Vice President described Anambra as the most productive state in Nigeria in terms of indigenous industries and commerce.

He noted that the visit marks his second since the inception of their administration and his first project tour in the state. He disclosed that the tour was necessitated by Governor Willie Obiano's appeal for the federal government's visits cum inspection as well as finding palliatives for the challenges facing investors in the current economic situation in the nation; Prof Yemi Osibanjo further extolled Governor Willie Obiano's exemplary leadership in the state especially for his efforts towards ameliorating the sufferings of the poor masses in the unfortunate era of economic tribulations assuring the people that conservative efforts are already being put in place to wrestle the ugly situation.

He enumerated the various opportunities the federal government has mapped out for women, youths and the impaired urging the people to queue in to harness these golden opportunities.

"whenever we hear about Anambra State, it is always the best of news... It'll always be news about people who are serious and determined, and who are diligent in whatever they do"

"I hope to be back... I've seen the great things that are happening here, I've seen the flyovers that the governor has built. I really congratulate him and thank him for great work that he is doing, and for a very good partnership that he has been offering us... I'll be back very soon" - VP Osibanjo

The Vice President who first toured the various cities in the state visiting the various factories in Onitsha and Nnewi expressed satisfaction with the level of development and opportunities being generated in the state showing optimism that the Willie Obiano's blueprint be exported to other parts of the country as he humorously added "I have given your alert governor my phone number so that I can also get alerts and enjoy the good things you people enjoy in Anambra"

You obviously don't know anything about your anambra village.

Obiano did not collect bailout because he borrowed to pay salary and he's not even paying full 18k salary.

OGUN STATE HAS MORE INDUSTRIES THAN ANY EASTERN STATE... Ogun was 4th on IGR after Lagos, Rivers and delta in 2015 so its no surprise they are 3rd now... Do you even know the number of companies ready to invest in ogun state due to its proximity to Lagos and reduced tax rate compared to Lagos?? Anambra kini?? Where e dey come from?? How many foreign or local investors will consider Anambra before Ogun?? Do you even have the population to support the market?? Check cities in Nigeria and their population yiboe cities is one good example of a "tragic comedy" Then check for south west... I guess you dont know what it entails to cite an industry....And who the hell goes snapping pix of every where keeping it on their phone... That's inferiority complex.. My friend there is nothing to answer, HIGH IGR means more money on government coffers, fabricated by governors no monitored, this is real figures of cash in citizens hands and was clearly stated by NBS that bank credit/deposit in each state may be used as an indicator of the level of activity and well being of operators (households and businesses) in a particular state as it shows what residents are borrowing and the amount deposit in banks

And Anambra doubled Ogun state, when state government are making money without utilizing funds properly, can't pay full salaries to workers, indebted your state, abounded projects littered your state what do you want us to discuss State declared bankrupt what did you want us to discuss I can't fall for west media propaganda, until what your guys are pushing out online start reflecting on ground for now you are brownee clown tongue tongue
