Larmont:Nice. Then why has the subject of resource control been a controversial one since 1999? Again, I find it hard to believe that Bayelsa and Akwa-ibom states each have IGR lower than that of ogun state.... Maybe IGR isn't an accurate index for evaluating the contribution of a state to the country's economy. Or perhaps , proceeds from mining and exploration activities in a state isn't factored into the state's economic relevance? |

[quote author=Ilovemystate post=57022856] Ogun with high IGR nothing on ground, deplorable roads all over the state, rated highest by NPF on suicide cases because of poverty, still owing salaries, 97% of the industries in Ogun are owned by Non Yorubas, their govt doesn't look back while taxing unlike Anambra were 99% of the industries and markets are control by indigenes, Ogun state government makes more money while the citizens are in penury, Anambra citizen doubled their Ogun state counterpart on five years transactions According to you 97% of the industries in Ogun are owned by non yorubas which in actual sense yiu are trying to say they are owned by igbos... How did you first get the 97% data you stated?? Funny people like yiu have never visited Ogun yet you know the industries ain't owned by Yorubas....isnt thatvridiculous??Thats the normal Yiboe attitude always claiming good things in other region yet theirs is dying a slow death 3 Likes |

FKO81:That is more like it.USA happens to be more indebted than almost all African countries joined together but still more buoyant economically, but that stat is even 2 years ago and the FG is owing Ogun state up to 200 billion naira. Ogun state would surely buy up Anambra state 10 times. 7 Likes |

OGUN STATE HAS MORE INDUSTRIES THAN ANY EASTERN STATE... Ogun was 4th on IGR after Lagos, Rivers and delta in 2015 so its no surprise they are 3rd now... Do you even know the number of companies ready to invest in ogun state due to its proximity to Lagos and reduced tax rate compared to Lagos?? Anambra kini?? Where e dey come from?? How many foreign or local investors will consider Anambra before Ogun?? Do you even have the population to support the market?? Check cities in Nigeria and their population yiboe cities is one good example of a "tragic comedy" Then check for south west... I guess you dont know what it entails to cite an industry....And who the hell goes snapping pix of every where keeping it on their phone... That's inferiority complex.. Not a single pix of lagos on my phone..grow up man 6 Likes 1 Share |

Larmont: My friend there is nothing to answer, HIGH IGR means more money on government coffers, fabricated by governors no monitored, this is real figures of cash in citizens hands and was clearly stated by NBS that bank credit/deposit in each state may be used as an indicator of the level of activity and well being of operators (households and businesses) in a particular state as it shows what residents are borrowing and the amount deposit in banks And Anambra doubled Ogun state, when state government are making money without utilizing funds properly, can't pay full salaries to workers, indebted your state, abounded projects littered your state what do you want us to discuss State declared bankrupt what did you want us to discuss I can't fall for west media propaganda, until what your guys are pushing out online start reflecting on ground for now you are brownee clown |
