The resorts are private. Many are found with national parks and game reserves too, but they are just lease holders.

Parks are owned by:

- Government (National parks)

- Local communities (Game reserves) The Maasai and afew other communities have several of this on some of their communal lands.

- Private individual persons who have big parcels of land that also happen to have wildlife (also called game reserves.) Anyone can get a licence to do this.

I am very curious to know what is all about. I was quite amused when I came accross this other movie on tv about Beyonce, Shakira and Rihanna...No, it had nothing to do with the reknowned popstars.

Anyway, u cannot find any serious Kenyan watching these types of movies, and that is not to say that we view all the Nigerian movies negatively like that.
There are a number of movies and tv programs frm Nigeria that I have seen, they were quite of good quality, the plot twist.....just good.

Like this very first Nigerian movie I saw when I was still a boy in 2002, called "The Irony of Fate". I still remember that movie, it was great. I became interested in Nigerian movies for a while, however, over the years, all the other subsequent movies I saw were of bad quality, nearly all of them featured sorcery in their storyline, and it was very becoming monotonous.

Tinsels is also quite good.

But honestly, catch me dead watching those movies.

Bantoid languages are under the Benue-Congo sub-group of the Niger-congo.
I don't see how that negates the Bantu origins of the Tivs, considering that the Bantus themselves migrated from that same Benue-congo region.

I think the Tivs obviously migrated eastwards to Benue axis of Nigeria from the Congo region at the time of the Bantu expansion.
As someone from the middlebelt too who has once shared the same state with the Tivs, it's true, most Kwararafan tribes neighbouring the Tivs describe the Tivs as expansionists and visitors to the Benue area. You don't know how much hatred many middlebelt tribes have for the Tivs until you visit Taraba, Benue and Southern Nasarawa. That Bantu expansionist blood runs in their veins and is part of their culture.

Jukuns and all Idomoid groups were neighbours before the Tivs came and cut them off. Infact the Agatus and Alagos (Idomoid groups) are still neighbours with Jukuns in Nasarawa state.

Nigerians have no sense of aesthetics. My father is in one of the most beautiful islands in the Carribeans right now, but he had nothing to day about the scenery and didn't even notice it. Our lack of maintainance culturw is evident.
