Yes, i had good result. Mind you excellent result cannot be derive by input of a particular ingredient but rather it is the total combination of your input that give result.

Bread is not a floating agent, it doesnt enhances floating. It is a soft carbonhydrate that is digestible for young fish. It could be one of the best ingredient in composition of transition feed because of its digestibility and act as soften agent

please house, I learnt hatchery from a farmer at ijebu ode, and I did my first trial, though I bought my broodstocks from the local market, weight 500-800g, after spawning I saw movements in the water, then I lost them to pollution but abt 200 survived, which are my first fruits, lol....I cherished them till date,....I did a ph test for my 2nd trial coz my water is acidic abt 5.5-6.5 I was told its not good for the fish that I should use soda ash on the water, I did that but the colouration I got from my ph tester was totally out of range... deep blue...the tester indicates green as safe.. so I didnt use the soda ash for my second trial, and I lost all. I want to get it right this time, my instructor is out of the country, I am determined to get it right, could my stocks be the problem cz I bought them from the local market, or my water ph, if its ph what range is good on them, or could it be sperm quality, a fellow farmer said during rainy season that spawning processes are more difficult cz they experience mortality, please enlighten me,I reside in warri.

you have to get ur water parameters right. And try get good broodstocks using such small sizes isn't good for d culture, if ur breeder are not mature u won't get get good results.... to use soda ash u have to do it right. 1. pH 6.5 isn't TOO low
2. Are you sure the fishes are matured, or they are just table size?
3. The soda ash u used was probably too much. U shud add little, then test ur water till u arrive at desired pH.
4. Getting results this season require GRACE and experience.
