One day,a fox was trapped and on the process,he lost his tail.He gathered all the foxes and told them about the latest development which is for every fox to allow its tail to be cut off.The wise one among them told him that he should go without tail and allow them to enjoy their tails.

Brother, you sold yesterday, allow us to continue with the rally........it is so sweet.......

Dont mind him. And yet he goes around saying he is an evangelist. Thats why i dont listen to them pastors. Very hypocritical people.

You have taken your profit. Please go in peace and leave us to continue trading. Dont be a pastor of doom.
I don't mean to harm you dear, just that I have a target price to go in again... But if profit taking starts, then I would have to wait a little.

Please all these personal attacks should stop.
Veecovee informed the house he sold yesterday. Of course, he thinks people will start taking profits which he stated this morning, asking for people's opinion. I see his post as a discussion starter. Most responses to that post are simply not in line with the spirit of this forum. While I did not sell, I would still prefer a robust discussion with arguments for and against profit-taking.

Let's desist from all these protectionist attitude. Non of us stands to gain from that on the long run.

Personally, I did not sell because I am in FBNH for the long term, I believe it has not finished its climb and I believe this is more of a shakeout.

Disclosure:- I've been in FBNH for over a year and I am ready to be there for about 2 more years, if I don't hit my price target earlier. So, my views are in line with my investment style.

I know that the rally is still on till next year, but just that the stock movement is never on a straight line. You can make more money if calculate well.

MARKET IS SCREAMING CAUTION!!!
NSE All Share Index starts the week on a bullish tone with the index appreciated by 0.73%. Very encouraging. However, the candlestick formed after the close is called SHOOTING STAR. Technically, this indicate potential price tops and reversal is likely imminent. The market is therefore shouting caution to whosoever want to listen.

Same candlestick pattern is observed this same time last year bull run (black circle), as you can see, there was a "major" pullback in the market.

This doesn't mean the rally cannot continue, but it is a warning to those that follow Technical Analysis.

Cheers

This priceless advice should have been put on sale. It may have been valued more.
The price will however be paid to brokers in commissions.
No trade is a good one, when it turns to losses especially after it made significant gains... grin
Always look at someone putting his funds out 365 days for 18~22% gain and appreciate when you make 21~30% in a week or two.. grin

RANDOM THOUGHTS:

Stock prices spend most of their time in trading ranges which could last for months.
If you are lucky to make heavy gains in a short time when the price sneaks out of its trading range, reduce your holding. This FREEZES part of your gain and frees it from fluctuating. Its like having an equation with A CONSTANT PART and A VARIABLE PART.. grin

@bullbearmkt @tritri hope you guys are seeing the serious and unprecedented manipulation going on on Zenith bank shares...Thank God I am out before now but what is happening confirms my earlier allegation of manipulation...That is why Zenith will always play catch-up with GTB (The Baba of them all)...

NSE the more you look the less you see... grin

Do you have the available cash to keep it up?

I am asking because of eventualities.

...manipulation ke?
most stocks have similar behaviour since yesterday & not only Zenith, even GTB reached 37 briefly yesterday & now hovering around 34. Should I say GTB is being manipulated too? That's pure case of profit taking by investors

I kw say some ppl enter zenith bank at 20, well thats NSE for you. Zenith remains one of the most volatile stocks in nse this quarter. Whether na by manipulations or sentiments(constantly swinging sentiments of an unstable mind) I no kw. I just fear that stock that pays the highest dividend in its sector, has the highest profit after tax in its sector but still cannot lead the price list of its sector.
