Hello everyone please advise. I updated my IeLts result yesterday around 5.10pm but till now it has not been updated and my new score should be 429. M getting extremely worried. Please advise

GTB is so messed up. If you have an alternative please don't keep your POF in GTB, they are claiming they give no reference letter whatsoever for savings account. So pissed off! Seems I'll have to make do with just my statement of account.

Yes, the reason for that is the savings account doesn't have references like the current account. (This applies in most banks)

But if you have a current account, request they get an approval for the reference letter on your savings account because it's the same customer.

But if you do not have a current account, tell them you can provide references on the account to allow them issue you the reference letter or open a current account, whichever is more convenient.

i remember one guy i met during my speaking ielts told me how he and his group of friends that wanted to relocate to canada pooled their resources together for statement of account each had it for 2 weeks and printed and submitted to embassy and moved to another who did same. mind you embassy will not ask the bank if the funds is still in your account and bank cant disclose this to a third party. they can only confirm the authenticity of the statement of account. for some banking packages, when you liquidate a fixed deposit, it ceases to exist in their books so moving fixed deposit around might be difficult.

i really dnt get what u mean by authenticity of the statement. do u mean the body or what makes up the statement? or just the name and account number. pls clarify.

Pension fund is allowed. I went to my PFA ( IBTC Pensions Managers) to confirm if only 25% of my account balance can be considered as POF for Canada PR Visa. I was informed that the total balance in my account would be considered. That though 25% is considered for those that are out of work and still in Nigeria. 100% is considered for those applying for Canada PR.
