Transfermarkt has it that he is also a defensive midfielder and his main position is central midfield. He could as well be a wing back in the making. Mujtahida: |
Ekong and Awaziem[/quote I doubt Awaziem will start ahead of Omeruo in center back ,if Rohr decides to start Ebuehi. |

Osihmen is Rohr's untouchable. It's okay for a coach to see something special in a boy and want to keep him close to the team as much as possible. komekn: |

Joebie: Honestly,we have young stars who can easily best Ejaria. Let him follow his heart...I no kukuma like English groomed players, they mostly lack technical abilities. Reason why England hasn't been able to win common coffee cup in decades. |

I would be worried if we're playing Cameroun, but not South Africa. South Africa ... they are our wives. And we're not ready for a divorce yet Now against Cameroun, all hands must be on deck. I don't wanna hear injuries or any excuses at all. So you guys better send a message to the likes of Ikeme and Balogun. O pari Icon4s: |

Ebuehi is not starting in the RB position and Umeruo is not a very good CB... Awaziem has proved he is good enough to replace balogun, we will find out tomorrow i predict the defense is going to be.. Shehu/Umeruo(RB) Ekong(CB) Awaziem(CB) Echijele (LB) |

its Ebeuhi vs Omeruo in RB. Awaziem replaces Balogun to partner Ekong Most likely Echiejile versus Youssef. adrainuche: |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by OMANBALA1: 3:07pm On May 31, 2017 |
adrainuche: You can not conclude with one low profile friendly match that Awaziem can be trusted. He definitely needs more assessment before he can get the pass. Not like I am sold on Omeruo but half bread is better than none. Awaziem is inexperienced and starting him in a crucial game will amount to risk taking. 3 Likes |

Why not he would definately start ahead of umeruo i read their partnership in camp Ekong and Awaziem has been superb ... So Rohr wouldnt want to destroy such partnership anyway ... Its good for CB to get good chem if u see that all their training games the coach has paired them together all the time... |

adrainuche: I have given my observations and takes its left for the coach to decide who to play. If I was the coach I would not start Awaziem in a high profile qualifier like against Cameroon just yet. |

komekn:I am excited about the profusion of young talented players. You will agree with me that from 2002 up till this recent flaming out of talents, we suffered a gradual dearth of players. So it's good to see players popping up almost daily. Experienced players are needed to blend things up but Baba, forget Ideye. Some players are not born to do it for their countries no matter how much they shine at club level. Like Akpoborie, like Ideye. 1 Like |

Joebie: Iwobi started playing soccer in Nigeria before he moved to England and he was mostly influenced by Nigeria style of play which you can see when he handles the ball... The guy node play English boring police football. And remember, I never said all English players lack technical abilities. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 3:45pm On May 31, 2017 |
Iwobi was groomed in England. Okay you are making a generalization. But the players in question are England-groomed Nigerians. We can focus on them. Does Lookman and Ejaria lack technical ability? OMANBALA1: |

Mujtahida: Rohr saying somebody is great doesn't make them great. Greatness is proved on the battlefield of the football pitch. Not just the recommendation of the coach. Furthermore, if coach believed him to be good enough and or fit enough he wouldn't be sitting on the bench. Particularly as they were in a desperate relegation fight. Nonetheless, he has played two games coming on in a token gesture at the end of each game barely getting 10 minutes from both games. That is zero form it certainly doesn't merit a call up to the national team. David Moyes former manager at Everton elevated the worst player in the team to almost assistant status. That player was Phil Neville, he was even able to influence team selection. He was so bad but the manager felt he was a top player. So Rohr opinion doesn't move me one bit, too many good managers get emotional and make mistakes. We don't if it's the NFF that is putting pressure on him Rohr to select him. Meanwhile one of the best players if not most technically gifted Sone Aluko has been left out. It doesn't make sense. If Wolfsburg were in the championship in my opinion they would be facing relegation to league 1. |

komekn:I understand your position but life is all about chance and opportunity. From reading you on this forum I know you have your doubts about Osimhen. Let the young man get his chance and then you can more properly gauge things. Yesterday the hype was Onyekuru, Odey, Olatubosun, Alhassan etc. Shey dem don go camp and two have fallen by the side? That's how it is. When he's tested then we shall KNOW. For now all we have is just information, speculations and opinions. 1 Like |
