2 carpenters will complete a room in a day perfectly. Deduce best price from that. Hope it helps.

Try to get another installer, so u can compare. 150k seem's on the high side to me.
It shouldn't exceed 100k.
are u using pvc for the whole house?
How many bundles did u buy?

Whenever you want to negotiate a construction job using skilled and unskilled labour use the standard daily pay for skilled and un skilled labour times the estimated number of days it will take them to finish.

2 lazy carpenters must finish a room in a day. Fast and experienced ones will do 1 room each with an unskilled labour. Range of pay for a skilled labour is 2.5-4k. I estimate 8 days max. 2.5k for 2 carpenters is 5k times 8days 40k or 4k for 2 carpenterd is 8k times 8days is 64k.

Your range is 40-64k. Can be even less pairing skilled and unskilled.

most pvc Installer charge 150 or 200 per meter to install . a length of 19ft is about 1.2 meter
so a room of 12*12 will cost you about 13meter x200 equal about 2600 to install if the work is many 150 is OK per meter and a good carpenter will do 2 or 3 rooms in a day

After so much negotiation and beggingoooo he has pinned it at 80k. I have told him not to be angry if someone else take the job at 50 or the most 60k. Although he has done pretty good job for us in the past. The leaving room (parlour) is excluded as we want to do POP on it.
It's 3 standard room ensuite, one ante room, the staircase and walkway. So I can call it "4" bedroom.

They bought 20 bundles. It's 3 standard rooms ensuite plus an ante room ( so I call it 4 rooms "approximate". The staircase area and a walkway.
After much begging he has pinned it at 80k. But I will be an ingrate if I don't appreciate the quality work he has done for me recently.

You need content to keep ur thread from being pushed to the bottom of the list. It needs to be fresh and educative to attract further comments, replies and enquiries. And you need these to get a slot at FP. And you need that slot to quickly break into the market.

Good morning folks. Can our experts in the house, Chief Dr Hajji M and co help me take a look at this quote that I got for POP ceiling. The POP ceiling is only to be done on the upstairs.

First the dimensions
1st sitting room is 30m²
2nd sitting room is 25m²
2 sit out for the sitting rooms is 30m²
The steps up till upstairs is 35m²
Total area to be covered is 120m²
His charge for workmanship is 1.5k per m² totaling 180k

MATERIALS
1) 42 bags of white cement @ 3.8k each = 160k
2) 40kg of sponge (fillers) @ 1.5k/kg = 60k
3) 1 big roll of binding wire = 9k
4) 6 packs of concrete nails @ 2.5k each = 15k
5) 1 roll of imperial soap = 1.5k
6) 5 litres of groundnut oil = 2,5k
Total for material = 248k

GRAND TOTAL = 430k
