Why You Should Not Get Caught Up In Intertribal E-fights Been on this forum for a minute and I see the inter-tribal fights never end. I think it is really retarded and I hope I can appeal to your common sense. Here are a few reasons if you care about upgrading your intelligence. 1. E-tribalists are cowards. Faceless forums help people become anything they want to be. Some people think they can become supermen of their tribes, combing every nook and cranny of the internet, defending their tribes and attacking others. No sane person in real life goes about attacking other people 24/7 without ever caring what people think of them. Even an insane person would have to work really hard at it. We might attack others in moments of careless insensitivity that can be chalked down to temporary insanity, but no one is temporarily insane all the time. So if you fight people of other tribes here all day but keep your mouth shut in the streets, you are just a coward. Don’t be a coward masquerading as an insane person. Cowardice is not an admirable quality. 2. Many E-tribalists are minors. By this I mean many nairaland tribalists have not yet reached the legal age of maturity which is 18. Unfortunately, the forums membership rules does not include being an adult before you can comment on topics. So by law many of the guys fighting here are not yet fully responsible for their actions. Being able to read and write is all you need to be here, and you don’t even need to be proficient at it. Once you can string together a few social media abbreviations you are good to go. A young person’s views on things changes very fast. Seven years from now, they probably wouldn’t believe half of the things they believe right now. That also includes the way they feel about other peoples. So before you start getting irate and loading your virtual clip at a minor, remember that. 3. You don’t want to be a weak and sentimental person The war you are fighting is as old as man and will never be won. You are never going to silence everybody who feels some type of way about you. You can’t prove a point to everyone who thinks they are better than you just by virtue of belonging to a particular tribe. If someone says something derogatory about your people and you dwell on it you are just going to want to get even. Instead of that, just look at it as a chance to prove to yourself that you have self-control. 4. It’s not that important Really, it is not. All that noise you’re making, the Fagani people of the Solomon Islands don’t know about it. I had to use google to know the Fagani people exist. They don’t know about how annoying that tribe that occupies the territory not far from yours is. You don’t know about the Fagani people and their enemies either. They know that they are not the only humans on this earth though. That’s all that counts. We are all humans and we are related. In two thousand years, all Nigerian tribes may not exist anymore, but their genes will continue. That’s what’s important That’s it for now. You can add yours. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

My Grandfather told the Igbos leaving in Iwoye near ILARO, Ogun state not to go anywhere that no one would touch them here. Out of fear, some left only to come back after the war, my grandfather asked them of their children, but they said that they died during the war, he then told them, "I told you not to leave my community here. " May we not witness it again. 31 Likes 3 Shares |

OrestesDante: You cannot claim to be the 'best tribe in world' based on something that many other people do. It's only the most backwards places, like the north, where they force non-Muslims into ghettos. It's the same thing that Europeans used to do with their Jewish population. |

Same way our next Hausa man neighbors hid our entire family during the Sharia crisis. visited them last two months, it's unfortunate they're all dead and the children they left behind couldn't recognize me. God bless them too 14 Likes |

I like d speech of d new Ohaneze Ndigbo President. Pls read objectively. In my own opinion, d enemy of Ndigbo is Ndigbo itself. I remember a time in this country when all d 6 ministers in Jonathan's kitchen cabinet were all Igbo's. Ayim Pius Ayim was SGF, Ngozi Okonjo Iwealla was in charge finance, Emeka Wogu was in Labour and productivity, Berth Nnaji was in Power and Energy, Dieziani Madueke was d powerful minister for oil. The 6 of them outside d Federal Executive Council would meet and decide what and what not to be discussed at d larger FEC. Whatever they decided would eventually be d position of government. In 6 years, this was d situation. Okiro and Onovo had d police under their control. Ihejerika and later Minimah controlled d Army. These powerful Igbo's could do and undo. Nigeria was in their pockets. Rather than care about d poor Igbo chaps scattered all over d country, they were busy diverting billions of naira into their accounts at home and abroad. D 2nd Niger Bridge, they didn't do. They shared d money. The Lagos/Calabar rail lines passing through 9 States, 3 of them in d SE, they were not bothered. They refused to pay d Chinese d Counter part fund. They shared d money. Enugu/Onitsha, Aba/PH and other roads of economic importance to their fellow Igbo's, they abandoned. Who is to blame? Who is marginalising d Igbo's? You had your chance, you bungled it. There was only 1 Yoruba minister worth mentioning at d time, Akinwunmi Adesina. He was in Agric. His budget was less than 1% while Emeka Wogu in Labor had over 10% for his ministry, Ayim had unlimited access to d treasury for d benefit of himself and family members. The poor Igbo guys meant nothing to him. If an Igbo becomes President tomorrow after Jonathan, will there be any difference? The Igbo man will marginalise his fellow Igbo people. 31 Likes 8 Shares |

Okoroawusa: Please speak English or respond in English ok. By the way so the Igbo speaking Deltans are now Igbo right? So they are no longer referred to as second class Igbo or not even Igbo at all. If you are a true Igbo you will understand what I'm saying. By the way since you don't care about Nigeria bro grow up and stop talking about Nigeria issues and stop poke nosing into your so called zoo nation affairs for Christ sake. My people should get live and stop smelling what they called abomination, if you don't like something a real man who is not coward don't care what happen to that thing so biko Nnwanne grow up leave Nigeria matter for those who still belief in Nigeria and talk you thrash Biafra doom nation. We are talking coup here not civil war so its two different thing get that to your brain. Good day 13 Likes 1 Share |

Some people are just so stupid sha In Lagos state government,Igbo's are getting to the highest cadre of government, level 17. Something that can never happen in their states Yet they say we re not accommodating Igbo's are very very self centered and have high hatred for other tribes.the very reason why God will never allow the Igbo's to rule Nigeria.u can lead your people but will never get to the 'promise land' except you people change your mentality. 24 Likes 2 Shares |

My dad told stories of their experience during the war. He's mid-west, stay in ibadan, and their houses got searched for igbos but they, in conjunction with their yoruba neighbours, ensured that the soldiers didnt leave with one single ibo man. At a point the soldiers nearly went violent against them because they couldn't get any ibo to take along n molest/kill. God bless all who ensured the preservation of the ibos even wen the odds were against them. SAY NO TRIBALISM ONLY LOVE CAN MAKE THIS NATION GROW 25 Likes 2 Shares |

BLACKdagger:Maybe you shouldn't have gotten into a fight since you knew you were weaklings? We shouldn't expect Yorubas to sacrifice innocent lives for our cause. Because even if they did, we Igbos would still have told them "who sent you" today. Moreover, the roles of Yoruba generals who led our own soldiers can't be overemphasized. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Hmmm, carrots are being thrown in the direction of proverbial "Afonja" rabbits by sympathizers of Biafra and Biafrans. Yesterday it was Reno Omokri (aka Beaf), today it is a facebook user who is offering his appreciation. We, one Nigeria proponents, must regroup if these 2 groups get together on a friendly basis. It is the Afonja vs Igbo division which allows continued domination of these folks. Houston, we may have a problem. |
