it just does not make sense. Why should Governors build Mosque and churches? Why should Governors-- some cannot pay their workers salary--continue to budget millons of Naira for Christian and Moslem pilgrims going to Jerusalem and Mecca from their respective state every year?

Kenya recently commissioned a Chinese built express Railway linking the Capital, Nairobi to the Port city of Mombsa. This Railway would further link up Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Rwanda, and Burundi to the Indian Ocean. Why are we not embarking on grandiose project like this instead of wasting limited state funds on religious matters and other frivolities

Because Church and Mosques make the masses more malleable to exploitation by politicians, religious leaders and royal fathers. The church and mosques will teach the masses that their poverty is the will of God and so absolve the politicians of all blame.

Building of schools and other development infrastructures will make the people more informed and more self reliant and therefore prone to rebellion against their oppressors.

The reason why the Southern State governments cannot use government money to build churches is because our churches are money making ventures. Most churches are even richer than the state government. In the North, the Muslims and their mosques are not money making ventures. So you can see the difference.

Am sure they have completed all schools in Sokoto.
