Please what is this thing (I am almost tempted to call it rubbish) I read about Onyekuru to Arsenal not happening??

Someone who is said to be from the BBC called David Ormstein calls The Skysports news on Henry's potential Arsenal move "fabricated".

Ornstein is one of the most legitimate sources when it comes to Arsenal news...so there must be a grain of truth to it. Something is probably going on behind the scenes again...

Awaziem Explains Why Central Defence Pairing With Troost-Ekong Is Working

Highly rated FC Porto defender Chidozie Awaziem has revealed the secret behind his blossoming partnership with William Troost-Ekong in the senior national team of Nigeria.

The duo have emerged as the favourite central defence pair of coach Gernot Rohr during the Eagles training session in France, and they complemented each other nicely in the 1-1 draw against Corsica in a friendly game.

Awaziem and Troost-Ekong have since then continue their pairing, with the Porto man confirming to Owngoalnigeria.com the secret behind their strong partnership.

”Sometimes this things come naturally, but in our case it’s due to the number of times we have trained together, and the communication between us, on and off the pitch”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.

”He’s a great guy, a loveable being and on the pitch his determination will fire you up to be at your best. He is very quick and hard in tackles. So usually his partners like me have little to do in games, he covers lot of grounds “.

I tell you...
that German Team is very good oooo.... They were just unfortunate against Zambia. Congrats to Zambia though... they have surpassed your expectations wink Remember you said you will be shocked if they make the quarters... cheesy

Yes.

They surpassed my expectations.

They have never gotten to this stage at U20.

The only other time any Zambian team got to the quarter finals of any world tourney was the 1988 Olympics. I recall that team beat Italy 4-0 in their last group game to qualify. That team had some fantastic players like Kalusha Bwalya, Chikabala, Chabala(goalie). A good number died in that Plane Crash.

Musa has been given a rope to hang himself. If he can't nail this opportunity then he is as good as gone. As for Shehu, nobi the same one wey dey play for Cyprus? That dude is just a waste of space.

Disclaimer:

I don't know where Omanbala got the erroneous idea that I'm a feminist and/or a lesbian, but I would like to state that there is no truth to either.

Firstly, I am no feminist. Nuff said

Secondly, anyone who has followed my posts on this thread would know that I love boys men, preferably the ones who look like Awaziem, Troost-Ekong or John Ogu, I will consider those who look like Iwobi, Kelechi or Ebuehi, I will NOT take a second glance at the likes of Musa, Kayode and Onyekuru grin....your bank statement is inconsequential in my decision, but your brain matter is highly regarded, once again, anyone who knows me here knows that I don't suffer fools

Once again, I hereby refute the claims of Omanbala and ask that you disregard such crazy notions.

Awaziem-Ekong will likely start against South Africa.... smiley

Shebi I asked if Ebuehi will start since this is African opposition....

Agu-Ndidi-Etebo.... exactly the midfield I was expecting... Against South Africa, Agu will drop to the bench for Onazi.

Musa-Iheanacho-Iwobi.... why am I not surprised? I knew Iwobi must start.

Expecting to see Onyekuru shaa later in the game....

Good Line-up for the friendly coming up in 30mins or so... wink

So no Onazi? Well this looks brilliant. I am guessing Iwobi and Musa will be on the flanks(I'd rather have Onyekuru ahead of Musa but Musa ahead of Moses Simon anyday) and Etebo playing off Iheanacho as the AMF like he did at the Olympics, my prediction? Win or lose Etebo will score

what makes you so sure? This is like the final practice before the game and Agu is starting the game. Shehu now is almost definetly going to start against SA, and unless Agu messes up entirely I think his own case might be similar too

U are the one ignoring that the article is almost a year old. A lot of people have had to eat their words since then and it was never a big deal.
I am aware the post is of last year and that was why I deliberately included the date on the post. I was just digging out some old files and came across the two posts I posted earlier, all with the dates. I hardly post news items with their dates, unless old ones.

You are asking the wrong question My friend... wink

The right question is, "Why do you even have to question that statement on Onazi starting against South Africa??" smiley

And Agu is starting this final pre-SouthAfrica friendly game because Onazi is not in Paris... Onazi will join up with the team in Uyo.... and Agu is the next best option in camp now. He has even displaced Uche Agbo.

This is so simple.... so why doubt Onazi's starting berth against The Bafana Bafana? undecided
