Preview: Nigeria vs Togo (friendly) :


The Super Eagles of Nigeria continue preparations for the AFCOn 2019 qualifier against South Africa with a friendly match against Togo. The Eagles play the Sparrow Hawks in an international friendly match in Paris, France, on Thursday, June 1 2017


Nigeria recently played Corsica with an experimental team who drew 1 - 1 with the minnows. Kelechi Iheanacho scoring the equalizer.

Togo and Nigeria have faced each other 16 times at senior level, including competitive and friendly matches.

Nigeria have six wins while Togo has three with seven of those encounter's ending in draws. Both teams are using the friendly game as preparation ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which start in June.

The Super Eagles line up before matchNAIJ.com can confirm that Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho and Oghenekaro Etebo have all reported to camp.

Victor Moses and Ola Aina will miss the match and they have not been added to the squad for the AFCON qualifiers opening fixture against South Africa in Uyo on June 10.

Captain John Mikel Obi misses out once again due to injury.
