I sew what Rohr has done.... he just switched Nacho's position.... Osimhen is a 9.... but can play from the wings too.... Iwobi is roaming from central areas to the wings at will... Iheanacho is interchanging with Osimhen... likely an Iwobi and Onyekuru on the wings and Iheanacho behind Osimhen (playing off the shoulder of Osimhen).... Very dynamic in positions the lads upfront now... very very dynamic... they can all interchange at will... Agbo and Agu in midfield... **modified** Sikiru Replaced Nacho..... I am in an area of bad reception.... right now... hence the slow updates... |

Alampasu should be considerate with his countrymen being a son of a togolese migrant & let in a goal. It will be fair that way. |

If Rohr had kept the bulk of the team that started the first half unchanged for like 30mins in the second half... Nigeria would have ran out 6-0 winners at least.... #9subs #RohrHavingFun |

Six subs rule is for Fifa window international A matches..... But for "any other friendly" especially outside the FIFA window, a certain number of subs can be agreed upon by the two teams involved and with the referee for the game informed of such agreement before the match kickoff. A team can agree to have subs ranging from three to twelve..... AIG07: 2 Likes |

Iheanacho Scores, Musa Hits Brace, Iwobi Shines As Eagles Thrash Togo 3-0 In Friendly The Super Eagles of Nigeria warmed up for their upcoming AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa with a convincing 3-0 win over Togo in a friendly game played in Paris. Ahmed Musa opened scoring for Nigeria with a lovely finish thanks to some great works from Alex Iwobi, whose venomous effort after beating his marker was spilled by the Togolese goalkeeper onto the path of the Leicester City ace in the 3rd minutes of play. Nigeria continued to dominate with Wilfred Ndidi and Iwobi looking very impressive in the middle for Nigeria, and in the 10th minute Iwobi found Iheanacho in the box but his well hit effort was saved by the Togolese shot stopper. However seven minutes later there was no stopping Musa as he grabbed his brace after another fine piece of work from Iwobi once again for Nigeria’s second goal as Togo looked rattled. Etebo was the next to try his luck for Nigeria, meeting a well weighted pass by Musa ahead of his marker but failed to divert the ball into the goal with the goalkeeper stranded. Few minutes later the CD Feirense star turned provided, after robbing the goalkeeper of Togo, who failed to clear his lines Etebo unselfishly set up Iheanacho for a easy tap in for Nigeria’s third goal in the 27th minute. The Togolese found it hard to cope with Iwobi who pulled the string admirably for Nigeria in the middle much to the delight of the fans at the stadium, as he earns cheers for almost all of his move. Togo failed to mount any serious challenge and Iheanacho almost made it 8 goals in 10 games for Nigeria in the 33rd minute, but unlike his previous effort he failed to get the angle right. Musa’s brace and the goal from Iheanacho handed Nigeria a comfortable 3-0 lead as both teams head into the dressing room for the half-time break. The second half saw a more balanced game although Nigeria still threatened the Togolese this time around were resolute in defence, although the series of changes made by the Nigerian coach also helped them cope. Wolfsburg teen forward Victor Osimhen was handed his debut and was very lively on the pitch, eager to get on the ball most times which helped him win three freekicks for Nigeria after he was fouled. The game ended 3-0 in favour of Nigeria and helped Rohr preserve his unbeaten record as coach of the Nigerian team ahead of the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa in Uyo on the 10th of June. **Michael James Source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/06/01/iheanacho-scores-musa-hits-brace-iwobi-shines-as-eagles-thrash-togo-3-0-in-friendly/ 2 Likes |

I hate to be the one to say this but this match will not be considered when the next fifa rankings are released. as a matter of fact, as long as FIFA is concerned this match never happened. The International Football Association Board has set a limit of six substitutes as a maximum in international friendlies. The limit was forced through today despite strong opposition from the English FA and England head coach Sven-Goran Eriksson. FIFA had originally wanted to impose a maximum of five substitutes but agreed to compromise at the meeting in London. The rule change is among several changes by the game's rule-making body, including scrapping the golden goal and silver goal rules after Euro 2004. The decision means that knock-out games will revert to being decided on penalties if the scores are level after two periods of extra-time. Eriksson and the FA faced an uphill struggle in their attempt to persuade FIFA to drop the change to the substitute rule after the Irish FA indicated they would back the proposal from FIFA president Sepp Blatter. Irish FA chairman Jim Boyce had said on Thursday: "I personally believe that there should not be more than five substitutes, otherwise it is a total farce with people running on and off the pitch all the time. 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: any FIFA sanctioned friendly has a maximum of 6 subs, be it an A friendly or nt(whatever that means). besides we are in the FIFA free window, that's why other teams are organising friendlies too |

This game is not listed on the FIFA ranking calculation table. So it will not count in our next ranking. However, a good confidence booster for the boys. Rohr should know his starting 11 against SA by now. Meanwhile if I say make I spread mat wait for players Ratings now some people go say I funny. Make I just kukuma Waka go play. When the ratings surface I go show face. 2 Likes |
