Hello everyone. Please house I need help with the answer to a very pressing question. I just applied for settlement visa. Bsed on the advice from this forum i know I am on track, meaning I meet all requirements but my concern is the accommodation. My husband lives alone in a spacious one bedroom flat but myself and our two year old son will be joining him. Though we've been there before but it was on a visiting visa. Now that I am applying for settlement visa, will eco consider the apartment too small? Please note that my son is British so the application is just for me alone. Please house, urgent response will be appreciated thanks 1 Like |

ooooyes: @ooooyes Check out the screenshot I sent Nb: children under 1year old are not counted. But 1year-10years old are counted as half. So in your case you are 2.5 number of people. Also if the apartment has a separate living /sitting room, then it is counted as 2 rooms. If that be your case, then it is okay and not overcrowded.

To the house, a fee for emails sent starting from 1st June. I just admire the UK government.. Always thinking ahead & inventive. Anyway, our God is good! https://www.gov.uk/government/news/customer-enquiry-service-changes |

AdimO1: At that price for a generic email reply ? Not unless the email would be personalised, full of important & requested details ? Then the cost might be justifiable. Let's see if anyone here would send and we can judge ........... 2 Likes |

@ooooyes Yes, a living room is counted as a sleeping room. So it is fine. In the application u be asked how many sleeping room, u answer one and they will also ask how many other room (aside, kitchen n bathroom..), then u shud add one....making it a total of 2 rooms. If u have extra cash , get a property inspection report. That will state if the property is suitable for u , ur son and husband. https://www.hussainarchitecture.co.uk/property-inspection-ukba 1 Like |

Hiya, The wait is definitely not easy at all but it's an opportunity for growth . You try to plan things you can do with your partner when you finally meet.try to occupy your days to make the time pass by .I joined the firm "I love my foreign spouse" on Facebook .They are very supportive and everyone report their progress so you know it's right around the corner . 3 Likes |

Prayer for someone out there waitingbFor Getting Visa "IF YOU ASK ANYTHING IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT". John 14:14 Loving Lord! The Scripture says that You are aware of all our needs, even before we ask You. So I come to You and place this request at Your loving hands. You know how desperate I am for getting the Visa. My soul has become weary and anxious over this delay in getting the visa . O Lord! Speak in the hearts of the concerned Entrance clearance officials, grant me favour in their eyes and help me to get my visa on time so that my purpose is fulfilled. Perfect everything for me my Master Jesus. I wait at Your feet and trust in You to make this possible. I know that You will do it for You will never let Your children down. I thank You for listening to my plea! To You alone be all honour and glory. In the sweet name of Jesus I pray. I confess that my faith is in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, my saviour Ps 102:13 says “Thou shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion, for the time to favour her, yea, the set time is come”. I declare that this is my time for the lord to arise and have mercy upon me for the time of my favour has come. Ps 89:20 says “I have found favour with David my servant, with holy oil have I anointed him”. Lord let me have favour with you, arise o my God, and anoint me with holy favour with the entreance clearance official thank you fpr answered prayers in Jesus name Amen Hope this builds someone's faith a bit 7 Likes |

Bibra800: @bibra800, yes I posted all docs from Lagos. My sister sent the SAE separately from London with a cover letter that I had scanned to her which included my details (GWF, DOB, etc). It was sent by RM, tracked and signed for. They never emailed me to ask for an SAE, which gives me the impression they received it and attached it to my application accordingly. Or are there ever cases where they don't receive the SAE and don't bother to email? Should I send another SAE? I sent an email to them and they responded asking for a full list of all items that were missing. I sent that and they said they would escalate. That was on 19 May. Nothing since. I will probably chase them by email — hopefully I don't have to pay this new £5.48 charge they have just invented. This is terribly disappointing. |
