FYI, Astrology is not for dumb people , so I have no idea why you think those who believe in it must lack smarts somehow. Astrology actually involves mathematics. It teaches you to read & calculate degrees/angles, unlike other belief based philosophies where you go only by what you're told.

what if ur mum had umm..a prolonged labour and instead of June 30th u were now born in July 1st or even 2nd,so automatically ur genes now change from being whatever to being another "whatever".it is scientifically,and practically impossible..
and yes astrology does teach maths,courtesy of early philosophers,but their horoscope zodiac classification is totally wrong

Well, that is still your opinion & how you feel about it. Personally, I do believe that there're other influences in the universe other than what we can see with the eye. If people can believe in God & the devil, I don't see why we can't also believe that there're other energies out there that operate or influence our environment in the same mystical way. Nobody is forcing anyone to believe in horoscopy, just don't call us dumb because your belief system is different from ours, is the point I'm trying to get across . I could also make fun of a kneeling man, talking to an empty room in prayer. But I don't, because I believe that there are other forces (of nature) out there, that go beyond our physical existence & logical thinking. Everything in this world has its "other side". There's no day without night, no good without evil & surely there's no physical plane without a spiritual one. IMO, that is the category astrology falls into. That which cannot be seen or proven doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. You just need to expand your mind beyond to the ethereal realms to get it.

There was a day I planned to travel to my school to collect my cert. I checked my travel horoscope that morning and it warned me to be careful so that I won't lose a fortune that day. To outsmart this warning, I changed my plan that morning, and left for Lagos. Our vehicle ran into traffic holdup. For 30 minutes, there was no movement in the slightest. Later the vehicle moved for about 5 seconds, and had to stop again. We were motionless for about 70 minutes. People were buying anything in sight to eat, but I just sat down. Some would leave the vehicle and return after about 15 minutes. The moment I stepped down from the vehicle to buy snacks, the road became unblocked. And before I could say Jack Robinson, the vehicle zoomed off with my backpack containing my laptop and other things on my seat. Fortunately, the bus conductor was also buying things at the time.

We had to pay through our nose to get okada that would convey us to Julius Berger. These riders were there for emergency services, so one would pay about 5 times the actual cost of transportation. It was there I learnt that the bus conductor was just picked up at a motor pack just fo that day's job. The guy started calling his contacts first to have the number of the driver. Then we had to be tracing him with calls. He said later that he was in Maryland. On getting there, he said he had moved to Iyana Ipaja in Lagos. We later found him by 12 midnight that day. I reached home by 1am.

As much as I love Astrology, I just don't buy into the daily horoscope mumbo jumbo. It's too random for my liking. If I want to know how my day is gonna go, I do a Chinese reading called a Gong hee fot choy or do runes. They've been the most accurate form of stargazing for me so far

Hmmm...interesting that you mention chakras because a couple of years ago, I was being haunted by a number. Every time I had a feeling to look at the clock, the time was 11:11. This went on for weeks until I decided to Google, "what does it mean to keep seeing the same number?". A part of me somehow knew it wasn't a coincidence. To my surprise, other people were also seeing 11:11, which led me to this other website about spiritual things like kundalini, chakras & spiritual awakenings. They described almost everything I was feeling, leading up to my research about numbers. I was gobsmacked. There truly is more to this world than meets the eye. I'm still not totally sold on the whole chakras thing though, but it was a whole new, interesting approach
