Boss13: Nice post there bro! 2 questions pls: 1. On the issue of reerence letters when HR is not yielding, are you advising that even if one's supervisor should have access to company's letter head, he/she should not use it rather write on plain paper? 2. On the PoF issue using spouse's account, is there any need for the accompanying spouse to write any declaration allowing the PA to use the instruments for PoF? Thanks 1 Like |

Hope15: In addition to this, can one explain the difference in the profession stated on the marriage cert and NOC used? For instance if you studied Pharm and the profession on ur Marriage cert is Pharmacist....but u are not practicing as a pharm but as a product manager NOC 0601. Pls clarify cos i dont assume these things are cast in stone Thanks |

Boss13: You can go to the registry where the marriage held. They will issue you a second copy after meeting their requirements (money also involved). You can notarize it or if its exactly like the original just use. If you're fortunate and its not Lagos (Cos Ikoyi people said its N25k) you could get it for less. |

Hello my people in the house. I hope you are all keeping up real good. I need some advice from the gurus here please. My occupation on my marriage certificate was generalized as 'Public Servant' whereas I have never been one. My occupation is Fleet manager and my previous occupation was Product coordinator, both of which are in the private sector. Please how do I handle this discrepancy when submitting my documents as I am awaiting ITA? Kindly advice please. |

@Boss and all. Can one also avoid deed of gift by simply asking your sponsor to write a letter of sponsorship for settlement funds and then transfer the money mentioned in the letter to you in furtherance of the letter. And the latter can then be notarized. One can then add proof of source of funds of the sponsor What do you think? |
Is it that he wants to add the child to his EE application and to take the child with him to Canada or that he just wants to be on the record that he declared he has a child but she is non-accompanying? You need to be clear on what they want. If it is that he wants to add the child to his application so he can take her to Canada, then he first has to locate the mum and reason with her failing which he has to go to family court and file for custody. There is no guarantee he will get custody especially considering the age of the child where court prefer to grant custody to mothers due to the young age. It may be better to just locate the child, begin contributing to the child upkeep and try for joint custody when she is older. If it is that he wants to just let the VO know he has a child, he can list the details he knows, (name of mother, name of child, date of birth etc) and use a letter of explanation to explain the situation that he has a child but is not in touch with the mum who has elected to keep the child away. Don't try to bad mouth the mum, just be civil in your explanation and submit with your application. Hope these address your enquiry.[/quote.. Thanks for your response. The 2nd is the case. CIC states that unaccompanying minors or spouse must also do medicals. In this case the child won't be doing medicals to support their applicant. He wouldn't have mentioned the child if not that he has "Single with child" on his marriage certificate, you get? |

Boss13: Please o, I really don't understand this occupation on marriage cert thingy. Is marriage cert to prove marriage or to prove occupation? I believe it's the first. So if I worked for one year as a banker during which I got married (and they probably put 'banker' on my marriage cert), then worked 3 yrs as a field engineer, and this is what I'm using as my primary NOC, are you saying my application will be rejected because it shows banker on my marriage cert? Please o, let's be sure of the info we pass across so as not to scare people. Lol 6 Likes |

Boss13: Good day, I received ITA on the 31st of May. I had been back to school obtaining a medical degree and thus out of work for a long while. I was planning on using a gift deed. Please what others ways are there to avoid using it, as stated above? Any additional Post ITA info and help would be appreciated too. In fact I don't mind physical help from those who have submitted e-APRs before. Thank you. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Nobody: 6:28pm On Jun 02, 2017 |
merrymum: Boss13 is just trying to lay emphasis on the point that your information must synchronize, giving no room for error or reason for VO to ask for more proof. The VO might request for more proof asking for other documents, or an interview in Accra. Also remember there is a Schedule A with Personal History section for the last ten years, if the marriage is over ten years, then the VO can explore other options. Some are not even lucky to get option of submitting proof, the VO just verifies through your social media profiles (LinkedIn, Facebook) and concludes that you misrepresented,by giving false information. Boss 13 might seem harsh, but the Canadian journey gives no room for error. The VO assesses you on what you submitted, and by his/her discretion. As we strive to package error free applications, may God's grace be on us all. 7 Likes |

Thank you my brother. This our Boss on this thread doesn't seem to get my point. Please Snap a screenshot of yours or anyone who doesn't have multiple in bracket. No one is fighting here we only want facts and proof not theory. Its simple, anyone who hasn't traveled outside naija for more than six months should snap what he has for PCC in the upload section, let's see if there is no multiple in bracket. Chordata: |

Good day everyone, please on this POF issue,an applicant has 1.1m,then intends to use 2M from his Mum as gift deed to augment his POF, can he also attach his Stock's Statement of Account worth 1.2M as part his POF? He is a single applicant. He has some plots of land he bought some years ago but the land is not registered so it's only receipts that he has and not Deed of Assignment.Won't it be difficult to sell as mere receipt won't suffice as evidence of sale. Thanks for your prompt response |

Good evening house, I've been a silent follwer on this thread. I just got ITA and I want to submit Schedule A with my application. However I found 2 different Schedule As on CIC website....One from 2012 & another from 2016. Pls do you have any idea which one exactly one should use in this case? I just want to submit upfront to avoid unnecessary delays. Thanks in anticipation.... debbiejosh: |

Bimpsy99: I think we are still having communication gap on this. I now understand what you mean. What I meant by multiple PCC is having more than 2 PCC rows on your document checklist upload and not just having one and beside it states include Multiple. 1 Like |

He wouldn't have mentioned the child if not that he has "Single with child" on his marriage certificate, you get?

After capturing the child's details that he has, he should state in the LOE that he is unable to perform medicals for the child due to the estranged nature of the relationship with the child's mother. This is an extenuating circumstance where the review officer will advise him of next steps directly at the appropriate time. It is not a reason for him not move on with his life, hope you understand. Let him do what he can and he will cross the bridge in due time. 2 Likes |
