It is foolish to think that Biafra soldiers never committed any evil. Whether the evil committed was for a common good, it's still evil, especially to those the action was rendered.

Even American soldiers, cannot run away from that. The evil highlighted in any war mostly is the ones that are overtly atrocious, in Nigeria Biafra war, Nigeria Army carried the day. No amount of revisionist propaganda can be able to change the fact.

That been said, a soul lost, is a soul lost. None is lesser.

May the souls lost, whether justly or unjustly, exaggerated or not, rest in peace.

In no way does it excuse the current agitation against Biafra agitation.

Mr Ewedu, only the hausas and yoruba have ALWAYS OPPOSED RESOURCE CONTROL. Go into the archives. Rasheed ladoja opposed resource control at GEJ's confab when SE and SS pushed for it.

Stop pretending to be a SSner, they are not that daft, only ewedu people are.

You Ibos are born liars and you don't even have any shame about it. Why do you people lie easily, is it a curse? Even my 8 years old niece knows Yoruba support restructuring from day 1.

SINCE the advent of democratic rule in 1999, Nigerians particularly the Yoruba race, have clamoured for restructuring of the polity to reflect true federalism. This, proponents say, can only be actualised through the convocation of a sovereign national conference, even though successive governments had refused to yield to the demand.

After ipob has finished insulting everybody sewing seeds of hatred and discord, now they now need the help of those they love to hate and those they have been insulting day and night go pass South East development bill, and as obvious it failed.

Someone said sth on Nairaland some years back,
In his words "e go clear for igbo people their eyes when even minority tribes like akwa ibom go produce president and Igbo way be majority never see vp eye"

Everyday it becomes obvious, just as southeast development commission was renegaded that's how it will be for igbo presidency until all igbos come out and denounce Biafra and Nnamdi kanu.
you people are so dump you don't know what was going on.....the southeast development commission was design by Igbo politicians to showcase to the world that igbos are being marginalize in Nigeria...am telling you now Igbo politicians some are members of ipob they are doing the bidding for the people of Biafra....watch at the senate level if you are clever enough
You can find IPOB in police, army, house of rep and senate the zoo are way behind from reality

Yesterday I read an article in the front page about a guy who was unable go get a job.

One part of the article caught my attention, he said he went to look for a job and when the woman noticed he was igbo her countenance changed, the woman told him not to waste his time and gave him 2k to go home.

This is just the beginning of what is to come, who knows if this woman is from the tribe our people keep praying evil upon, or is sm1 that all this ipob just finished on Sahara reporters or Nairaland just because she defended Buhari?

Southeast is not prepared for a break up, no infrastructures no companies, Igr is low, etc. If the country breaks and Biafra come is it from heaven you would import your machines from? You wud still need Nigeria's help in far so many things.

The same country you hated and wished for I ts downfall wud be d same country you go to bend a knee for just to enhance the cooperation of both countries isn't dat funny?

The second in command to General Ojukwu was an Efik/Ibibio man and he stood with Ojukwu till the end. There were numerous Efiks, Ibibios and Ogoja people who fought for Biafra. Calling this so called report an academic journal doesn't negate its subjectivity to dispute. Academic reports or journals are not sacrosanct, they can also be filled with lies, half truths or mistruths.

This one is dead on arrival.

The onus is on you to dispute it with facts.

Are the accounts of the victims lies ?
The sources of the researchers wrong ?
Do you have facts and source to prove this otherwise ?
This Efik/Ibibio man, is this not the man who surrendered, after Ojukwu fled to Abidjan ?
What was the military ethnic makeup of the Biafran rebel group, how many non-ibo speaking fighters did they have ?
You say numerous, how many ?

The researchers present fact, figure, numbers and correlations

Was Oladipo Diya not Abacha's Deputy when Abacha was persecuting Yorubas bombing their land, and haunting their leaders?

Facts can only be countered with facts. Instead of facts to be churned out to challenge the facts stated by op, insults and name calling has started in order to blow dust on the thread.

One thing I know is that in a war both sides kill, commit atrocities, mayhem, rape, kill civilians and so much more even though the acts of one side might outweigh that of the other. So let both sides put down their stories.

For example as far as the second world war is concerned we hear so much about the six million holocaust victims (which has been proven to be a lie anyway. Anyone who doubts it should carry out research on the Internet but I am not saying Jews were not killed but not six million exaggeration) but we don't often hear about the atrocities committed by the allied forces on Germany(read firestorm) and so many other aspects of that war which I do not want to talk about. In other words many people from both sides died but today the story is tilted to one side.

Read this book Blood on the Delta: the Mid western genocide then come back and reevaluate all you have written I can't remember the authors name, it was written by a Nigerian
TheCabal:
Eversince - the rhetoric regarding the civil war has been heavily one sided. The Igbo people claim that they are the ‘only’ casualties of the civil war.

However, an old employee of the eastern government in the 60’s has recounted how Biafran soldiers killed, maimed and buried bodies of the inhabitants of Calabar.

Qoute:

Besides the confession of this employee, we have supporting evidence regarding the inhumane treatment of minority groups under Biafra’s territories.

These are issue’s the Igbo people and IPOB need to answer. If they so love and are loved by the Calabar’s, Igala’s and Idoma’s – Why did they murder them ?

Evidence continues to proove that the Biafran project is nothing but a proxy to access the wealth of the oil rich territories of the Niger-Delta and subdue the minorities of the Federal Republic.

Qoutes:
