Last year, only first choice were admitted cos that's how Jamb structured it..A public university as first choice only, second choice a private uni or poly, but for this year, they relaxed that criterion allowing state unis and the 12 new federal unis for second choice. My gut feeling would say they'd allow for second choice this year, but one can't be so sure until the time for admission screening starts.

Now, uniben is a no-nonsense skul, very competitive, and very demanding!...To gain admission into uniben, u must be among the table topers!....Your olevel result aint that bad, infact it can be classified as a Good result, but not Excellent!...Ur Jamb score is mouth-watering, but considering the level of super results registered in this year jamb, it safe to say ur result aint that catching!....U been from ekiti, put u on d offensive side, u may be put aside while indigene and catchment people are considered!....So what then is my advice to you?....I'll say u pick out a less competitive south-western university To fancy your chances!....Mind u uniben may give u admission but ur chances there are a bit Little!

you are to multiply The four subject in ur OLEVEL that you did in JAMB...

for example if u did

chemistry
biology IN JAMB,

then u will multiply the grade you got in does four subject in your olevl!....

I wanted to change course but JAMB have not released their cut-off so i decided to chill and opted in for the basic studies program.

Wish i could tel u a skul dat will accept 220 for medicine....220 Can only fetch u medicine in a private university....U going for a basic program is a wise Idea, but does'nt gurantee u of medicine!...There are two things i'll advice u to do

1]Enroll for Ijmb or Jupeb, with this u can get admission into medicine and For 200lvl

2]Change to a lower course, Get a good GPA in ur 1st year and change to medicine

Merit, come-on Ur chances are little, Uniben Gives admission based on High jamb score, Considering d fact dat A lot of people pass jamb with extensive score this yr, ur 242 aint spectacular....Uniben is competitive, Why don't u change to a less competitive Skul?...Uniben dont use point Grade,..Change to a skul dat use point grade!
