it is so obvious that the dude is not an SE material yet....
he should move to a more competitive league if he is that good..

Na who tell you?

Most of the SE material today were bench warms and academy players but when dey were given the chance they proved themselves .
He is in the Dutch league and he is moving to the Belgian league.

Is Shehu Abdullah playing in la liga?

Remind me where he plays? shocked grin

Can you consider the depth of your comparative reasoning so as to make it substantive.

Ronaldo De Lima at age 17/18 had in first senior season for Cruziero in the Brazilian top league played 47 games and scored 44 goals. This performance was phenomenal. He was now almost an enigma at 18 proven, tested and outstanding.

Meanwhile Ronaldo's progress was restricted for Brazil by a certain Romario who was just beyond description amazing.

Osimhen is 18 has played how many games and how many goals. Bro there is ZERO comparison.

In all honesty I doubt if Osimhen can enter Chelsea U18.

I wasn't comparing Osimhen with Ronaldo. Not at all. I was only using Ronaldo to state a principle. Bros, he cannot be in Chelsea U 18 but he's at Wolfsburg. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Because no matter how much you do not approve his call up the fact is that he's in camp and we can't change that. Salud!

As regards Osimhen, Rohr has seen him in close quarters enough times to justify why he continues to invite him.

Komekn makes an argument for Onyedinma, a league 2 player because he has seen enough of him to decide he is class.

Osimhen's playing time this season was affected by injury not ability. He has a full season next year to prove doubters wrong.

Rohr has preferred Simon Moses to Musa in recent games.

Correction Millwall were league 1 but now in the championship and were in the championship for past 4/5 seasons before getting relegated.

When Millwall were in the championship Onyedinma was given MOTM award at 17 he was offered contractors both Chelsea and Arsenal. But he chose to stay at Millwall and develop and also run down his contract.

He is now a free agent watch this space in the next few weeks and see where he goes.

Why are you lying naa?

Osimhen played 45 mins in two games immediately he attained fitness..... and this is not even counting his cameo involvement in the relegation playoffs.

14 mins vs Hamburg (as a sub)

31 mins against Mochengladbach (as a sub)

And you say his coach does not consider him good enough??

Sir Komekn... Fear God abeg!!!!

komekn:

Before you take an examination you must have the pre- requisite qualifications otherwise you are excluded.

His own coach does not consider him good enough in a desperate relegation battle says it all. 10 minutes of football all season.

Ok we are looking at like for like replacement.

If you can name a nigerian player that can play the RB and DMF positions at the same time then I will agree that Shehu should not be there.

If you can tell me what business Ronaldinho had at the 2002 world cup then I will agree that Oshimen shouldn't be there. Let's start with two

I will give you a players who is comprehensively better in the RB position that is Ola Aina.

With regards to CB once his contract terms are done this summer Dominic Iorfa.

No no no. You are taking this thing too far and a tad bit personal. Remember this young man has been battling injuries since he went to Wolfsburg? That he even made the match day squad thrice immediately after coming back from injury and had cameo appearances is a testament of how much confidence his coach has in him. Let me use tbaba1234 words- injury not lack of ability is what has hampered Osimhen.

You feel say him dey block Aluko? (*Winks)

ok do you know that when Omeruo's club had an injury crisis it was Omeruo that was called upon to play the DMF position, the reason then was that he is the best ball playing CB in the team and one of the best in the league. Check, it's mainly ball playing CBs that are error prone like Pique and Stones just like Omeruo. Omeruo for me is the better and more willing ball playing CB

That is not an indication of quality but a poor team that lacks quality in depth.

Onyedimma played One minute on the same weekend Osimhen got 14 mins of playtime......

Onyedimma in recent times hasn't exactly been getting games... and you are here over-hyping the lad.

Onyedimma is a very good player. fantastic talent and I have seen many of his videos and games for myself but plsss stop your double standards and lies to discredit Osimhen.

See as I am looking at you like Lucozade.

You went to write Amunike's history while I was talking about how Amunike discovered Osimhen during an open camp screening. Within minutes, Amunike knew Osimhen was special and I think Osimhen started living with Amunike after the encounter.

Now that makes it even worse undue influence becomes very plausible.

The reason why a player who has spent almost the whole season out with injury is invited to the SE after playing 10 minutes if football.

It doesn't look good Bro.

I was talking with a British agent this evening informally to a number of Nigerian origin players and these issues were raised that cause concern for both players and agents.

Alhassan: Making Nigeria Squad For South Africa Clash Massive Achievement For Me

Akwa United top scorer Ibrahim Alhassan (arrowed in the picture) has described his inclusion in the Super Eagles squad that will face South Africa in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on June 10 as a landmark achievement in his footballing career, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Alhassan was included in coach Gernot Rohr's 23-man squad for the match scheduled for next weekend after impressing in the two friendlies against Corsica and Togo.

The former Nigeria junior international started the game against Corsica which ended 1-1, while coming on as a second half substitute in the 3-0 win against Togo.

Alhassan who arrived Abuja with Super Eagles squas from France on Friday, thanked Rohr for the chance to show what he
can do.

"I'm very excited," Alhassan told Completesportsnigeria.com.

"I thank God for the opportunity and also the coach for the opportunity to train with the Super Eagles and also make the team.

"It is a massive achievement for me, my team (Akwa United), the home-based Super Eagles and my family. I believe our performance will open the door for others (home-based) to be invited."

Alhassan expressed his delight playing against Corsica and Togo, stating that it was a great experience for him.

"Playing against Corsica and Togo was a big experience for me. The first time to be in the Eagles and also to start against Corsica was really a big experience for me. I'm looking forward to playing more games with the Eagles because I really enjoyed the experience."

On the chances of the Super Eagles against South Africa, Alhassan said it will be victory for the Eagles.

"We are going to give our best because I believe the coach has picked the players he believes can play. And hopefully, if he selects me, I am going to give my best. I am going to fight hard in training to make sure that I give a good account of myself. I want to assure Nigerians that it's nothing short of victory against South Africa.

And on the exclusion of MFM's Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun from the Eagles squad that will face South Africa, Alhassan said:

"I was not happy when I heard Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun did not make the squad. I was hoping that we will all make the squad but it cannot be possible for everybody to make the team.

"However, I am very sure they have experienced a lot with the Eagles in France. So it's just about going back to the league and keep working hard, and hopefully, they will be invited again."

If your figure is accurate, does it follow that the other 30% fail?

Nope. Just as it also seen in the case of formations deployed in football over the years. From 4-4-2, 4-3-3 and now 3-4-3(more coaches are adopting it). Majority of coaches adopts/follow trends as a result of change in football patterns while others decide to deviates and stick to what de believe will work for them. This doesn't mean that those who deviated will fail.
*it all boils down to individual's CHOICE*

you can decide to build your team around Form(i.e prioritizing form ahead of class) while another coach decide to say no-it is class first. All well and good-it depends on how you view it.

*Iwobi lovers no vex if he's not in the first eleven. My point is that we have our positions covered and there's enough room for flexibility and versatility.

Victor Osimhen is the golden boy of Nigerian football.
Tammy Abraham would be an asset if we can get him.

Victor Osimhen would keep getting the invite with Rohr as head coach and even after his exit. Its left for Victor to impress and come good

I would breathe fine if Omeruo,Akpeyi and Ezenwa are left out of the starting 11 against SA.

I hav said it before, AKPEYI in the starting line up, is a trouble waiting to happen
