Boss13: I'm the PA. I planned to upload Shedule A for spouse. We have lost enough time already waiting on my FBI PCC. In fact, I plan submitting eAPR with PCC LOE once it's two days before last day for eAPR submission because I think FBI PCC won't still by then. It will be just about 8 weeks since my application was received by then. |

percee17: First, Travel and Logistics Business is a separate entity from both of you. I do not know how much salary you pay yourself from the business but since you guys are both owners of the business, you can transfer huge amounts using the Narration - BONUS or PROFIT SHARING. i.e. PROFIT SHARING FOR THE YEAR ENDED 2016. All you then need to do is explain why you are entitled to this profit sharing. CAC should show both of you as directors; a company policy should indicate that you are entitled to profit sharing/dividends as owners of the business. Financial statements to show you made profits and then your personal statement of accounts to show the inflow. Alternatively, you can sell goods and services to the company and the inflow will show sales of goods and services and then you provide sales invoice for the sales transaction. On the other hand, I'm just asking - did you use this your business to get ITA or you work in a different organisation? If you do work in a different organisation. I think the sales transaction should be okay. 3 Likes |

optionese: Compliance officer being 2014 till date (which is the period am claiming points from).then am accounting experience 2012- 2014) which am not claiming points for. If it won't fly can someone tell me how to rectify my marriage cert before I put in my application |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Boss13: 5:25pm On Jun 03, 2017 |
ysmd: Pardon my previous response. When was your marriage. If its falls within the period of Accounting experience, no problem. If it is within the period of you working in a Bank as a compliance officer - there is small wahala. Get a sworn Affidavit for marriage certificate or go to the local government where you did you registry and see if it can be changed. |

sehawale: Where do you intend to submit this Schedule A? I don't think a document upload is required for it. You can request for GCMS after a month and then submit it for your spouse or wait for them to request, which they do if it is required. Chill man - worry more about the FBI PCC |

1. I think you should go with what is on your WES evaluation...Meanwhile, does your certificate or transcript read 2year program? I believe WES would have evaluated based on the document you submitted and what they verified, so something must have triggered their assessment, perhaps your transcript. 2. I suggest you fill the forms based on your actual work period because that is what you earned point for in the first instance (innit? Lol)and then use the LOE section to explain why you have an overlap in your reference letter(s) i.e. you have been offered employment but your actual work started on so so date as a result of notice period in your former workplace or for whatever reason it is. I hope this helps...look out for more suggestions from the gurus bigbroda: 1 Like 1 Share |

Now that it appears that VOs are aware of the basic provision of our Pension Reform Act, this is just an idea for anyone planning to add 25% of pension balance as additional support for POF: If your PFA refuses (most would anyway) to give you a formal letter addressed to IRCC on the issue, just send an email to their customer care unit to inquire on how and when you can access 25% of your pension balance. They will likely reply confirming that you can apply for it 4 months after you are out of employment. Since the mail should bear your PFA's contact and the respondent's signature, just print out the email and add it to your pension statement supported with a LOE. NB: This is my personal opinion. 4 Likes

bigbroda: behati: I agree that you should include the one year It as part of the HND and make it 3 years. For question 2, you indicate it as it is: Bank Job - Apr 2010 - Nov 2012 Govt Job - Oct 2012 till date That's what I did. At some point I had multiple jobs with interlocking dates. I put them like that. 2 Likes |

well done to the fore and great grand fathers/mothers in the house.....and to newbies like myself....i say WADO! Abeg, let me gba una one small question o, i have ITA and i have recently sold my car which covers most of the required sum that was stipulated by IRCC. However, my challenge is now how to move this money to the account i want to present, is it acceptable to transfer the funds to the account i want to present? if i explain in my LOE that it was a proceed from the sale of my car, will that cause any issue? or is it better to have hubby transfer it to me and explain in a LOE that its his immigration support fund, or even just do a gift deed altogether? please pardon my plenty questions. |

40manlappy: Nice one! Does one need to get a letter from d pension company again to prove dat one can access 25% of his/her pension fund especially as they are already aware? I think one should just request for his account statement from d company and state it in d LOE dat he has access to 25% of d fund few months upon resigning provided by d pension act. Dis might b a good option especially if d pension coy isn't ready to give any letter. 3 Likes 1 Share |

eddycross: Thanks behati and eddycross. Actually I ain't using it to claim points cos I also got my BEng. and MSc. evaluated and I'm using d MSc. point, just trying to avoid misrepresentation. So final answer, I should select d 3 year program certificate option for d HND? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 9:41pm On Jun 03, 2017 |
bigbroda: Bros, I didn't imply that it was needed but remember that the "burden of proof" still lie on applicants. I don't think we should simply assume that the VOs are on the same page with us on this. IMO, it's all about "packaging", and above all, God's favour. 1 Like |

Austynodv:Hello guys! Please I don't know if you saw my post earlier. I am thinking of getting an affidavit to declare the correct occupation on my marriage certificate. Will it be sufficient and accepted by CIC? Has anyone ever used affidavit for any of his or her documents for ITA? Please kindly share your helpful insights here. Very much appreciated. |

Hello , On the issue of NOC. Inoticed my NOC is not under the 2011 NOC classification but has been included under NOC 1122 under NOC 2013 classification. I also noticed that CIC still use NOC 2011 and hardly refer to the 2016 NOC. Is this a problem |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 9:59pm On Jun 03, 2017 |
Austynodv: I didn't use an affidavit but what you are planning sounds reasonable. However, do you have a reference letter or any documentary proof (appointment letter, etc) of the "correct" occupation? I think you can use them to complement the affidavit and a letter of explanation (LOE). 1 Like |

Hello house, Pls help, can a person claim the work experience in this circumstance; where a wife works under a company owned by her husband and 3 brothers (adults) and one of them is her supervisor sharing same surname, Is this okay? Won't this raise any red flag? Note she isn't one of the directors or even a manager |

Boss13: hmmm thanks for this but it sounds complex though. We both work and this is our side business. We really dont have any structure of financial statement. company policy etc. We just do plus and minus ourselves basically. The main challenge is all our monies is in this account. We did not use it for ITA as we use our individual work place. Our plan is to use the statement and include the letter from the bank showing us as signatories and the Registration of Business name. Just confused as to if this is sufficient proof. 2 Likes |

percee17:Where the problem lie is that the account won't be bearing your name. Before we resort to LOE let's also know we are in d end at d mercy of the VO. They r human and once they start having doubts they tend to take a safer option of delaying or in worst cases denying your application. They have an impeccable record system that is thoroughly audited so no VO wants to make a grave mistake cos they know they will be fished out and may lose their jobs. If we understand d psychology behind what drives d actions of these VOs den we will package our applications more carefully. There are no shortcuts. Avoid misrepresentation, follow their recommended guidelines, include all relevant supporting documents and where you have to use LOE clear out every doubt by attaching a valid documentation. This way we make their jobs easier and in d long run maybe we would enjoy faster processing times. 1 Like |
