Don't be deceived. The evidence are there to see. Jesus and Mary status are being bowed to, Mary status outside the church were people cry to for help. Aside this, Catholic isn't as bad as we thought.

Its not true. They DONT BOW TO THOSE SCULPTURES, they only kneel and pray AT THE SIDE OF IT. Just like pilgrims go to pray at the tomb of Jesus, and wen they kneel they channel their attention to God and not to the scripture.

Just like people come before the altar to cry out their heart not because d altar is dat powerful but because it helps their faith go strong wen they feel they are praying on a holy ground d same with Catholics it helps dem feel they are praying at the feet of Jesus or the mother of Jesuss. They pour their heart but same time they bow to it that's the problem. Even bowing to an altar is worst off than images. You can have a status of anything you reverence but don't bow to it. Infact don't pour your heart to it because you might be tempted to bow down.
