Hello everyone, thanks to all the gurus for the information, encouragement and even financial supports.
It saddens me cause I got to know about this thread this year, would have done better if I knew earlier, but God knows best.

Cgpa: 4.1/5
Read: Bsc Urban and regional planning
Completed NYSC last year.
Currently doing a graduate trainee at a firm in my discipline.
About to take GRE and TOEFL exams.
I've done and still doing loads of research on what schools to apply.
I'll be applying for fall 2018, for Masters in Urban studies, with a concentration in Geographic information system (GIS), or better still Msc GIS
I've narrowed my options to the following schools
University of Nebraska
University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
Cornel University
University of Minnesota
MIT
UCLA
University of California, Berkeley
Geogia institute of Technology
Pls I need advice from gurus in the house. Choice of schools to apply will be based on good student funding and also ranking
Pls I need mentors, have tried on several occasions to pm most of you but couldn't.
Pls I need all the help and assistance I can get. I'm a genuine student with good intentions and aspirations for myself, humanity and Nigeria in particular. God bless you all.

You need to go and snap a correct passport and scan it, by doing so it will upload perfectly

It is best to get the soft copy of the passport and upload it. That was i was advised to do and it worked perfectly

Yes but all the photographer not all of them give that based on what someone told me when i gave this option to the person

My Visa was approved on Friday the 2nd of June. cheesy

.. Transcript loading.. Lol.

I got to the venue around 6.15am for my 7.00am appointment.

@ electronic.. The mazi guy helped to cool down tension small. He really cracked me up. grin

. I pitied the Chinese guy for a minute.

My interview (Window 6)
VO: Good morning. How are you today?
Me: Great and you?

VO: Am good, Pass me your Passport and I-20
Me: I obliged

VO: So tell me about the school
Me: Iowa State University... em(brain storming). Iowa State University established in 1858 is located in the mid west and in the second most productive agricultural state in the US. It's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is highly ranked and...

VO: (cuts in) So tell me about (checks my 1-20) your program
ME: I am going for a PhD in Plant biology. It is an inter departmental program and i'll be taking 72 credits with a minimum of 24 course credits in courses such as (mentioned about 5)...( the VO was busy staring at this computer screen) then I continued.. and also attend research seminars. In my first year, I'll complete rotations in different labs to familarize myself with the type of research going on in the department before choosing a lab to work in. (I paused for a second but he was still staring at his computer).. I will also be attending annual Xxxx lecture series, and attend local and international conferences...

VO: I'll be approving your visa...bla bla bla (unlike y'all I heard all he said grin

You GRE and TOEFL scores...especially GRE, would determine where you should apply to. Concentrate on those first. That being said, your list has mostly top schools. I would add maybe two average/safe schools to that.

First and foremost, you see all the schools I bolded, they are highly ranked schools, so applying to 6 top schools out of 7 applications is a NO NO. God forbid even with a GRE score of 325, you can get rejected from all 7 schools. All these top schools have applicants from India, China etc with close to perfect GRE score, Research experience and perfect GPA, so its highly competitive. In summary you need to go back and do your research well,spread your risk and plan to apply to 2 top schools, 2 moderate and 2 safe schools. You can start with this website www.msinus.com, http://www.msinus.com/content/how-select-universities-ms-us-534/ download the ebook on the site at the top right corner. The ebook gives you direct links to articles and web pages that will be very useful to you. Delete your whatapp number, you don't need to. When you have any question come back here and ask.

Good morning @all..
I really need help with my application to Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh..
I'm applying late because my uncle who's based in the US disappointed me..(He promised to help in applying but now giving excuses)...
I already apply to the school online, now I was told to send my documents which am going to do next week..
So, I really need the team here to explain what I should submit and what I shouldn't submit to the school..

Here's the screenshot of what the school is requesting and I dunno if the school will accept a copy of my high school transcript based of the 'Official transcript' that's in their application..

Once you have a grip of why you are going to US he brings out White Paper...
