hian, wjy is the inclusion peppering you like this?

If you have been following this thread, you should know that Isaac did not make the list because he exempted himself with his nonchalant attitude. Anyone who is a regular here, is well aware of Isaac's antecedents, he is very similar to Moses, but unlike V Moses, he is very dispensable

Secondly, considering this is not a friendly like you said, why should you be bothered with Osimhen's inclusion when only 14 of 23 players will get on that pitch on Saturday?

So, you think a player who is on equal level as Iheanacho and Kayode will come and sit on the bench knowinh he won't even get to kick a ball? Una dey reason the matter sef?

Osimhen is not going to kick a ball, na only three subs we get and unless SA break the legs of Kelechi, Kayode, Onyekuru, Etebo and Musa, it is not likely Osimhen will face SA.

If that is your problem with his inclusion, rest easy, he is going to be about as involved as Alampasu on Saturday

grin

Peppering ke? You are very funny Dear. I just want the Coach and his Crew to select Players for the Team based on fairness.

My point is also clear. Coaches before Rohr felt Osimhen was a special talent. So Rohr sharing the same sentiments is not far fetched. Finito. Comprende.

That's cool!

Potential over Experience...... as far as he's not missing Drills.

Why give Ovie a lower rating because of his sideways passing? Most times, keeping possession is important in the midfield game and extravagant play should be avoided. Did not have time to watch but I do not think sideways passing is a good reason to reduce someone's rating.

Not only because of his sideways passing.. he commits unnecessary fouls. Wayward passes..

(1) The Regulars (at their various Clubs) should be considered before the Bench-Warmers.

(2) Experience should be considered over Potential. For instance, the Experience of Onyekuru at Eupen honorably justifies his Inclusion in the List.

(3) Players fitness also should be a Priority over Likeness or Quota-system.

chai! This guy that is a better player than Iheanacho, Liverpool's biggest buy next season na who you rate 5.5?

Bros, just ask for forgiveness grin

To be truthful and sincere, he is still going to be chopping an extended bench there.. with all these his below average or just average display so far, there is nothing special that will make him to bench the liverpool's 2nd best striker. Yes he scored the only goal today but still missed clear easy goal at the 89th min which even made Tomori to shout at him. Iheanacho is better than him..

So if you have Isco on the bench at Madrid, you will play a championship midfielder playing regularly ahead of Isco and call it fair?

When Carlos Alberto Pareira carried a teenage Ronaldo to USA 94, do you think there were no experienced Brazilian strikers that could make the team? What of Aime Jacquet leaving out the Experienced Ginola, Cantona in France 98, do you think he was unfair to them in favor of Thierry Henry and Trezeguet?

What is unfair is if the coach is going against his wishes. If the coach wishes to work and Mould Osimhen, then that is the fairness we need.

Against Korea, Josh Onomah was the best Nigerian player that day.. Ejaria even got a yellow card for an unnecessary and reckless tackle. So far in this tournament, you can't say that he has been better than Lookman, Onomah, Tomori, or Ojo.. it's only him and Solanke that are playing below the hype.. especially Solanke..

There is no comparison between KN and Ejaria. Nwakali is light years ahead of Ejaria. Forget the English hype. If Nwakali was English he will be manning Man U central midfield with ridiculous salary.

I haven't had the opportunity to watch any of the games.

But from watching these players and thier performances in whatever league they find themselves. If I was to make an informed guess about my expected projected performance level for each of these players. Your assessment would be more or less what I would expect.

Solanke us off the boil and in one post I suggested that Ike Ugbo is seemingly ahead of him as Tega Abrahams Haa left him behind.

Fikayo didn't do much in the championship and at youth level he would probably shine somewhat. Seyi Ojo has a very limited skill set in his approach play I would have had a much lower expectation.

The other Tega at this level will boss the midfield not suprised. Ademola has an eye for goal and low centre of gravity can be dangerous.

Ovie has not learned to dictate the pace he needs to be much more positively aggressive.

When I get back to England I will look at games.

That is a TOTALLY WRONG ANALOGY check what Ronaldo was doing at Cruziero at 17 /18 scoring 44 goals out of 47 games. Is simply phenomenal. The whole of the creme de La creme in European football were waiting to buy him.

The only reason he didn't play was the small matter of the Great Romario.

Ginola had a personal issues with coach that was well publicised.

When you say a player is EXCEPTIONAL TALENT it's not only one pair of eyes that can see him. Secondly talent is usually not just speculated upon but is established for all to see.

When a coach decides to use a unit of measurement known to himself alone that is UNFAIR. In reality it's the basis for abuse.

There are other players that are far more deserving who could possibly have claimed position but are now denied. Most people want competition for shirts not undue favoritism.

What of Eric Cantona? His talent was there for all to see. Yet Aime Jacquet preferred to carry some boys learning how to strap boots (Henry And Trezeguet) and Guivarch who spent the whole tournament looking for the goal post. At the end Jacquet was right. The young players did well and Guivarch's work rate up front helped the team win.

It is not about all to see but the best the coach believes fits the team. You are not in training or as knowledgeable as Rohr to know who deserves a call. Rohr is in the best position.

I really so much appreciate the highlighted Part. That's exactly my Point too.

He doesn't deserve the Call up, but we have to respect and support the Decision of the Coach.

As Safarigirl pointed out..... he's unlikely to start or play a Part in the Match, except an unwanted Situation calls for it.

Hence I'm expecting Iheanacho to lead the Attack, with Iwobi playing behind him, and flanked by Onyekuru and Musa.

But honestly, I would prefer Kayode to lead the Attack, Iheanacho as SS and flanked by Iwobi and Musa/Onyekuru.

Before the U17 world cup, Awoniyi was the second choice until Success got injured.
What would you call a deputy who held sway when Oga went on sick leave? Is that not stepping up? Looks like you have a problem understanding the context or direction a discussion is going.

We are talking about someone stepping up in the absence of Osimhen just like someone stepped up in the absence of Success and you're talking about Granada. How those these two pronouncments relate?
