After getting the go ahead from the Federal government to repair and construct the international Airport road, Lagos, the Lagos state governor, Dr Akinwunmi Ambode has made it clear he wants the very best.


The new look will have 10 lanes, sidewalk, pedestrian bridge, interchange and flyover.



The governor noted that: We believe this will be more befitting for an important gateway into Nigeria.

This design lacks sophistication! I am sure Fashola would have done a better job. Nonsense over hyped airport road design by Pastor Ambode.

- That is how they promised that Ikorodu road would have beautiful gardens at the middle lanes etc. Nothing to show for it...nonsense.

This airport road has good slopes, I don't know how they plan to integrate the current slope into this cheap hurried design. Nonsense. I am out of here.

Seun, I will like to use this opportunity to make a comment on what I'm observing on Nairaland. I notice that threads with graphic images such as a burnt body, a beheaded body, a dumped baby etc. always make the frontpage with the images not been filtered. I will urge you and the mods to always blur these gory images because it is not good for the general public psyche.

That road separates oshodi from ajao estate. As long as oshodi is involved the locality will not help matters. Because them go take leg match match those lawns. Especially 7/8 and ajao gate wey people they cross road anyhow.

If it's Lagos then its gotta be a solid project. Excellence reeks through eerthing.
@Mjshexy, you expected the roads to be lined with gold? Lagos has nothing to prove to anyone. Sometimes the simplest of works are the best as the goal is to improve the overall living condition of those it serves.
