SteelyMan:

@bibra800, yes I posted all docs from Lagos. My sister sent the SAE separately from London with a cover letter that I had scanned to her which included my details (GWF, DOB, etc). It was sent by RM, tracked and signed for. They never emailed me to ask for an SAE, which gives me the impression they received it and attached it to my application accordingly.

Or are there ever cases where they don't receive the SAE and don't bother to email? Should I send another SAE?

I sent an email to them and they responded asking for a full list of all items that were missing. I sent that and they said they would escalate. That was on 19 May. Nothing since.

I will probably chase them by email — hopefully I don't have to pay this new £5.48 charge they have just invented. This is terribly disappointing.

Once you send the email, you would receive an auto reply, requesting their tea and doughnut fee........

Please is there anyone that submitted in the last 4 weeks? DO they still scan original documents at TLS VI? or does one have to just mail everything to Sheffield.

Another question? Are contractors classified as permanent or temporary jobs?

All original documents goes to Sheffield .

They take the front page of your online application ,
your passport
,they scan your old front page passports(if you have ) ,extra additional information (if you have) .
You photocopy all visas and passport pages .

That's all you can do, remain hopeful...

That HO caseworker was just a clown. Going to Nigeria, does not mean you went to visit your husband?
It's up to them to prove the contrary, and since they could not convince the Judge...........
Husband should start packing and saying his Goodbye's.....

You remember this reply from me ?

Just tried to check mine but none of my reference numbers are recognised. Guess will continue to wait. I don't even understand how with priority fee it has reached 38 days (7 weeks)!!!

The wait is uncomfortable. If I'd known priority would take this long I would have just waited on standard time.

If after 14days homeOffice did not challenge the decision then you will be asked to submit your passport for visa

Hi Nakiemi,
I was hoping your husband had gotten his visa and you were just going to drop timeline on us.Im still waiting as well .39 days here. I'm willing to wait till day 60 before calling them .If only they would refund the money paid if they don't meet up.Its disheartening to watch people who applied end of May get their passports back . No method to this madness.

See this is only for those who applied with in the uk
As it is we all applied outside the uk it wont work had to press the back button to figure it out . No need to waste time just use the tls contact service tracking stuff or wait for an email .

If it actually worked for you pls show us a screen shot .
Thanks

Though mine is a tier 4 visa but the tracking also worked for those that applied outside UK. Can someone who understands the image below explain to me if my application have been assessed by an ECO.... WHY IS IT TAKING LONG TO MAKE DECISION IF ACTUALLY IT HAS BEEN ASSESSED?
