Should I give a list of stars in the La Liga, EPL, Serie A and Bundesliga for you to understand the gap in the quality of these leagues to Austria? All I am saying is do not make being the top scorer in Austria such a big deal. The competition is far less there.
Frankly speaking, you totally typed out of context from my initial post.

What he is saying is simple. Mane came from the Austrian league and took the premier league by storm, I mean Liverpool couldn't win a match without him. Alaba for some is easily the best left back in the game and he came from the Austrian league so that tells me and you that their league is great, he merely used the trashing of As Roma to point out the strength but what you are saying isn't even making sense

Alaba was under 17 when he joined Bayern. He was not made by the Austrian League.

Mane did not take the premier league by storm.. He was a decent player, nothing more.

You do not need any results from camp to know that Rohr typically prefers starting off with a 4-2-3-1 formation.

List of players in position. Not formation. After the reports, I will make my list. List is clearly written in the quote.

So because CR7 came from EPL and took the World by storm, every player from England will take the World by storm? Duh.

I am pointing out that two quality players from a league is a poor figure. I said should I list players from other top leagues to explain competition.

I am not saying that Kayode can not pull of a big show, I am saying the competition is poor there. Highlighting beating Roma does not make the competition stronger. Alaba and Mane does not make the competition stronger.

I said the league is weak.

Very very very very disappointing, biased, unacceptable, confusing, disheartening and baseless points up there.

When did Osimhen become the 3rd choice striker? shocked

When did we start reserving the 3rd choice striker slot our best youth team striker? Jesus! shocked shocked

How is Osimhen at highly playing ground than both Awoniyi and Orji? Chinekemeee! Hilarious shocked shocked

If Tores and bigger players they play 3rd choice for Spain, Germany etc, who be Ideye and co? shocked shocked

Besides, who is our first and second choice striker? shocked shocked

Commot Aweriem for this matter, he is not Osimhen mate.

If Alampasu is warming the bench in a 3rd rated Portuguese Liga, I don't see why he should be invited.

How old is Ajagun that you are calling old? Eleleeeooo! A wood! shocked shocked

And 5 people liked your post.... Awuuuuu! shocked shocked

grin

It seems you cannot make use of your eyes...check the team list again nd tell me who is the 1st 2nd n 3rd choice striker? And tell me how ajagun is not an old man..your love for this ajagun eh....seems na your brother.Thank God you not eagles coach.

I'm taking about the growth currently witnessed in Austrian football, the massive investment in their league and even their national team these days, while you quoted and was about listing stars who play in Spain and Italy.
We are not even singing from the same hym booklet.

meanwhile a player who almost singlehandedly led Liverpool to a top four finish is just a decent player? but.... Iheanacho for example is a world beater? the kind of bias statements you guys make ehn...

It's not about just the league. It'd about football development in the country in general. They invested massively in their football system from bottom up, while hiring highly qualified managers mostly from Germany.
Their investment saw them qualify for the European nations cup last year. A feat they never managed to achieve in donkey years.
Alaba was nurtured from the system. If they didn't construct that platform, Bayern Munich wouldn't have discovered Alaba in the first place.

Israeli league is better than the Austrian league? can you name four teams in the Israeli league without the aid of Google?

and yes, Nwakeme is equally good, why these two guys are left out for players like Oshimen is what we are complaining about

Neither can I name 4 teams in Austria.

Does not make the league strong.
They are certainly moving in the right direction and their teams are getting good results in Europe. Even Rebull Slazburg hit Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich 3 :0.
This sort performances and results will make you understand that Kayode is not playing against some clowns. I frankly prefer Austrian league to the Scandinavia leagues.

Don't compare Red Bull team with others in the league. It is currently a one team league.

Our Bredas are just going through a phase with less talent coming through. We have been there before. They are still strong.

Yea but they are no longer as strong... Compare that midfield composition with the era when Essien, KPB, Muntari held sway. Take a look at their defense, nothing to write home about. To imagine that they still depend on an old guard like Gyan for goals sums up the miserable condition they are in, presently. Gyan isn't it anymore and Jordan Ayew just doesn't measure up.

The few big(though average at best) names but Andre Ayew u see on that list, are bunch of chronic bench warmers in their respective club sides. The Parteys, Armateys and Acquahs of this world. The only guy(K. Asamoah) who would have been an exception has been as unlucky as our own Joel Obi with injuries. Seriously, Ghana is feeling the heat

for a player playing for the second best team in a 'one team league' to win the highest goalscorer shows that he is very good. when was the last time you heard that a player neither from Madrid nor Barcelona won the pichichi in Spain? that was Forlan and I don't need to start singing his praises

dude are you for real? Someone wasn't scoring regularly for the national team for almost 6 years yet he was constantly being invited and you're comfortable with that? Ok o kanu was still up and coming but westerhof called him up how many minutes and how many goals had he scored before he was invited?

Oga, why was Yekini invited to the national team?

Go and check how goals Kanu scored in the NPFL before he was called.

Naby Keita went straight from the Austrian league to boss bundesliga. He made buli team of the season. The league isn't that strong but let's not undermine Kayode talent.

I will wait for results from camp before making my suggested list but I think we will play a 4-2-3-1 formation.

If that be the case, then my preferred lineup would be

• Akpeyi

•Shehu
•Ekong
•Awazeim
•Echijele

•Ndidi
•Onazi

•Etebo
•Iwobi
•Musa

•Iheanacho

** I hope Omeruo doesn't start.. he may be one of the most experienced player in the team, but truth me told,he has been sloppy of late. I don't trust him not to fumble against SA. Rohr might probably play him anyway cus of his experience

** Etebo playing on the flanks would be cool since he is versatile.

if I can vividly remember he played from the wings during the olympics where he got his 4 goals from before injury ruined the tournament for him

The other dude is correct. Etebo played from the wing. Mikel always played behind Sadiq Umar. Usman and Azuibuike pivoted the deeper MF roles. Etebo was mainly on the left wing, but occasionally switched with Imoh. But Etebo was on the wing for 90% of the tournament he played.

Some Dudes are quick at accusing Forgiveness of Nepotism, yet they are the Champions of it.

It wasn't wrong for Iheanacho to only be drilling without Competitive Football at the Club level, and still be making the SE List, but it's a Suicide to invite a Regular at a Club who often plays European Competition.

It's 100% WRONG to be comparing Osimhen with Kayode. is it because the former plays (on the Bench) for a German lowly Club?!

I enjoin some Dudes to revisit their Posts and objectively analyze it. They would know they are being Partial and ain't taking the Bull by its Horns.

Kayode has been prolific for 2 solid Years, he's even named the Best Player in the League this Season for God's sake!

I can't believe this is happening on this Thread. Someone should tell me where the Unity lies here in the Thread?!

Kayode honorably deserves the Call up. He's not lobbied into the Team by anyone, rather his performance on the Pitch speaks louder for him.

We can quick to sing-praise Onyekuru, but we shouldn't talk much of Kayode because he's plying his Trade in a lesser League in Europe?!

Someone even rated Israel League ahead of the Austria League simply to condemn Kayode's Achievements?! SMH!

This Thread needs to be fortified of Nepotism, and Objectivity should be given a limelight to SHINE.
