Any Yoruba person that marries igbo cannot speak for the Yoruba on this very important issue . Mr Yinka was right to a little extent but we need pure yoruba . The like of FFK ,Yinka and the likes should watch as we send igbos out of yoruba land at the appropriate time. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

The Igbos have really insulted the other tribes on their quest for Biafra. They could have called for this referendum without insults, that way tensions wouldn't have risen like this. You can be rested assured, if the War breaks out between Hausa/Fulani and Igbos, Yorubas will not be joining any of the parties to fight any war, we will simply use that opportunity to peacefully and diplomatically declare our separate state from Nigeria. I will advise the Minorities in the South to come together to form their own separate country likewise the minority in the North. They should not join any of the major tribes(Igbos,Yorubas or Hausa-Fulani) 36 Likes 4 Shares |

My people have suffered so much in d hands of ndi Hausa! they even issued out warning this time around and for that am grateful. Ndi Igbo, akulueulo! come back uncle Frederick! my dad was wise enough to buy a shop at oshanja main market Onitsha even though we were born in kwara state. the north have always been jealous of ndigbo and it didn't start today. 16 Likes 1 Share |

Those Northern Youths do not speak for the Middle Belt neither do they speak for the Northern Christians; this is not 1966 when the North was under fiefdom of Sardauna, we are in 2017. Northern minorities have no problem with Igbos but rather with Hausa and Fulani leadership who have dominated everything in the Nigeria and finds the Northern minorities useful ONLY during general elections; using herdsmen and Boko Haram to put them under seige and displace people from their ancestral lands in kaduna, Taraba, Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa etc, kidnapping mainly Christian girls in Chibok (which was not carried out by Igbos as they are also victims of BH). The gallant men and women of Middle Belt fought hard against the innocent Igbos, helped in starving them to death to keep Nigeria One and today there is nothing for us to show for effort and that would NEVER be repeated again. Hausa and Fulani were very few who fought in that war and got killed in the trenches because they dominated the officer corp and protected their people in the Army from the 'Ogbunigwes' and rockets. News going around here in the North is that Youths are already moving around taking census of Igbo properties and who will get what building or shop. The Federal Govt needs to step in and act fast on this threat as it is easy to start a riot in the North once the imam declares it during Jumaat prayers, many of the Igbos residing in the North are not part of IPOB just like not every Yoruba citizen is a member of OPC or every Northerner a member of AYF. Moreover, the average Northern youths sees every Southerner as 'inyanmiri and arna' and cant differentiate between Ijaw, Efik or Ibibio and Igbo. The Yorubas are seen as 'infidels' and not spared during crisis (ask people in Kaduna and Jos) because the average Hausa or Fulani man will not stand behind a Yoruba Imam in a mosque to pray. 28 Likes 3 Shares |

The Elders in the East have actually failed their region. When they should have cautioned their youth and people in the East they remained silent, now it has escalated. If this treat is carried out, who loses? The Northern elders should also rise up and caution their youths too. GOD help us! 17 Likes 4 Shares |

hardbody: We are both saying the same thing. Be ready to fight your war alone and don't equate the misguided statement from Odumakin to mean Yoruba's are with you. You people should not take offence to my clarification. Awolowo made a statement before the civil war that was misunderstood by Ojukwu, we don't want a repeat of the same misunderstanding this time around. 17 Likes 4 Shares |
