How's she now?

Happy birthday Feddy27, God's blessing dear. Age gracefully
Finally, she battled it all night and woke up this morning to her normal self, she's busy now blabbing all the ones she's not blabbed since yesterday. I'm so relieved, I hope it's gone for good. Thanks

Oooshey.
Lemme modify then.
I will do as you docheesy
I have bought cabbage carrot and cucumber.
Prepped and stored in the fridge.

Coconut oil and green tea is on standby too.

Torh, I was looking for support group ni o.

I no longer live with Mum, my biggest motivator.

I try to be self motivated. But I am not always successful. I do better when I work with a team of like minded folks.

Maybe it's a downside of being a people oriented individual, maybe NOTgrin

Hehehe
Don't worry you will get there.
Be sure to take your measurements so you can track your progress.
Also, are you on instagram? There's this Nigerian girl that posts about her weight loss journey and her results are massive. She sometimes posts what she eats and also shares what she does.
I can share her page with you if you'd like.

AlphaHandMaiden:

Banana, apple puree, mango puree, sweetners from blended dried fruits .

Few recipes here:

http://alphahandmaiden..co.uk/2017/03/cereals-cereals-cereals.html?m=1

http://alphahandmaiden..co.uk/2017/01/mixed-fruit-paste-sweetener-i-mentioned.html?m=1

You can also use the blended oats, banana, apple puree a bit of milk and egg to make pancake mix and fry as a snack or a meal. Great for finger foods.

Thanks for this , had them bookmarked on my lost phone, very helpful.

Mama that mentioned putting her son on his chest to sleep please DO NOT TRY IT O!!! As other mama have made mentioned that it cause SIDS(Sudden infant death syndrome). Always good for baby to sleep on their back. When they start rolling over they will choose the position best for them.

boil the oat when it is still hot pour in a blender and add bananas and blend together. Or juice apple and add the apple shaft to the oat and blend I bet u any child that resist it needs prayers. That and many others I did for my first child and I hardly went to the hospital.

There are so many good infant milk. It depends on your pocket (kudi) . Some common ones are Nan1, Aptamil, Enfamil, Similac...Other mamas will add. Anyone you go for, don't buy bulk quantity at first so you won't waste your money. You need to be sure if your child will accept it or not react to it before buying bulk quantity.
Thanks mama. Noted

Hi Mamas I have 2 questions:

1. My baby has this rashish looking thing on his skin, normally baby tribotan clears rashes in 2 days max 3 but this one is going to 5 days. pic attached. Is it just rashes or something else?

2. Car seat. I was going to buy the convertible seat but someone gifted me an infant seat and I chopped hubs money decided to save the money. When do babies outgrow the infant seat? What type should I buy now and any good brand suggestions?

@ sunbestie

My baby was on similac( her poop was greenish brown and at times watery ) but after we exhausted the one I came back with from US, I switched to Cow & gate ( her sister took this ). Her poop is the right colour and consistancy is good. She is 4months 3 weeks old.

Lol
They said you use cabbage to make eba. And most people have done it but I don't know the procedure.
Since I no sabi am, my own is just to cut back on the size of my semo biko.
It's also why I said I freestyle. I don't eat according to what is on the list. My progress is very slow and it's not showing on the scale, but I've lost a few inches here and there

I took him to the hospital on the 4th because of the stooling and he was running temperatures.

the doctor examined him and said his gum is swollen that's the upper part (he already has two teeth down) and also his throat is swollen she then said I should go for test.

his blood sample was collected, it revealed he has malaria.

malaria syrup, antibiotics, paracetamol, ORS and one other syrup was prescribed

but he is still stooling and he's refusing to eat all he want is breast milk. I don't know what else to do
Mama your baby will be fine dont worry. When babies are not too strong they reject food and take only breastmilk. I have experienced this with my first 2 kids. He has been medicated so he will get better allow the effects of the drugs to kick in properly , continue to give salt and sugar solution and also breastfeed on demand as well.
